Out of the five cranky wolf villagers, which one is the most popular?

Chief!! But I'm biased as he was the first villager I've ever met in an AC game.

I love the concept of a crotchety old-man wolf and think he has a really endearing design.
The fact that he’s a writer and I picture him as a mentor of sorts makes him my No 1 dreamy (probably the only one that I must have on my Island, tbh)

Fang and Chief are great but a bit basic in comparison, while Lobo is really neat but not quite the style I’m going for. And Wolfgang—I just don’t like his design. I think his face/colors are just too busy for me.

Fang or Wolfgang. Had Fang in my NL town, but I don’t want my island to be an exact copy of my NL town so have Wolfgang instead. That and he’s the one I found on an island.

I like Fang or Chief the most! Leaning slightly toward Fang though. I also think Dobie is neat but I liked him better as a lazy and got sad when I heard his personality was changed, tbh.

dobie is my favourite! i also love lobo (i remember him from wild world, i think i might have liked his colouring better back then!)

Fang! He’s been my favorite since I had him in New Leaf, and I will hopefully reunite with him soon.

The fact is... I can never tell the difference between the four popular ones. I always get their names mixed up. I think I've only come across Lobo(?) once, in NL; I didn't have much of a connection with him sadly. I did have Dobie as an islander in the GCN game, I thought he was neat. Called him gramps whenever I plugged in the gameboy to visit him haha. I was happy to see him returning in the amiibo update, but was never able to get him because of AC amiibo cards never being in stock anywhere in the US.

I do want to invite him to my island as his aesthetic is the same as mine. It might be a problem though, cherries are my native and he's allergic to them.
