Favorite Nintendo Franchise!

Well RIP Iwata! In honor of his death, today we will decide our favorite franchise! BUT read the rules!

Rules!
No Spin Offs such as Mario Party or Super Smash Bros!
No Animal Crossing! Since were on a website based on Animal Crossing I can guess who will win
I am only using popular franchises! No certain odd things like Gyromite! However, retro games count such as Duck Hunt or Punch Out​

Metroid, not the 3d ones, but the 2d ones, because It brought a new genre that didn't exist before. Super Metroid is still my favorite game to this day.

I voted Kid Icarus because I really loved Kid Icarus Uprising but then I saw Pikmin and remembered I love that franchise more, whoops!
While I do really like Pokemon and have played a lot of it (probably more than all the other games), I've had more fun playing Pikmin. I also really do love the Zelda games, perfect balance of puzzle and action for me! c:
I don't really like the older Kid Icarus games (just another 2D platformer, there are plenty of those) but Uprising was really great.

I also played Fire Emblem Awakening and that was great. There are so many different Mario games but I love the 3D mario platformers the most - Super Mario 64, Super Mario 3D Land, Super Mario Galaxy 1/2 and even though I haven't played them I think I will like Super Mario Sunshine and Super Mario 3D World.

I voted for Zelda for best franchise even though Super Metroid is the single most perfect game ever. I just feel that the Zelda-games are better as a whole series.

I'm sort of indecisive as to whether I like Pokemon or Earthbound better- but seeing as I've played Pokemon for far longer- 15 years, as opposed to a few days of Earthbound- I voted Pokemon.

Legend of Zelda (3D) or Pokemon (mainline handhelds) both series have a great deal of consistency in their quality. Of course, both franchises still have their low points, but they weren't bad.

Originally, I used to think Animal Crossing was the best franchise, but now, my favorite franchise (whether or not if it's listed in the poll) is the Super Mario Series, but I'm only for the 3D platformers. I've always like 3D platformers the best. It's better than simulation and management games in my view.

Pokemon all the way! If it weren't for Pokemon I wouldn't be the Nintendo fan I am today as Pokemon is THE game that made me get a DS (it was backwards compatible with the GBA titles) in the first place all those years ago.

Secondly I really like Mario too but just mainly Mario Kart and Galaxy.

Finally missing from your list your is Harvest Moon! Another series I love. <3

Mario was my childhood so definitely my favorite. The Legend of Zelda and Donkey Kong are close seconds though.

Well since Golden Sun isn't on here...

And that's why Issac is an assist trophy in Brawl, and never appeared in Smash 4. Because a lot of people don't know that Golden Sun exists.

It still should be on there. If they are well known and popular, put 'em up.

I can understand Mario Party not being listed, because you can just vote for Mario because it's a part of the series, but excluding Super Smash Bros. doesn't make any sense at all. It doesn't belong to anyone so you can't vote for it by choosing a different option, and it's completely different than anything else.

If anything, Yoshi shouldn't be there because it's much closer to a spin off than Super Smash Bros. is (I can consider it a different series on its own but not before Smash).

And I doubt people would vote for them so it may be pointless to add but there's also the Mii games/Chibi-Robo/Advanced Wars (I hear about this one a lot)/ect.
