Favorite Lion Villager

I'm curious and would like to know which lion villager is your favorite and why.

Thinking about it, I find the lions overall not bad, but I can't really pick one which I would call my favorite, as I don't really have one here. If I had to pick one, then I guess I would go with Rex, probably because his design is kinda neat.

Aziz, Bud, Elvis, Leopold and Rex are the ones that stick out to me, but I like them all. I once had Elvis in Wild World and in New Leaf and the way he looks plus being a cranky villager fits him perfectly. Aziz would be my number one favorite because he looks like he lives near the sea and I love how he is a blue color.

Rex! He has a cute expression and I like that he is lazy.

I'd probably have to say that my favorite Lion is Mott, though his grasp of that position has been slipping lately since I've had him for a while. I had him as a resident of one of my towns for a while, then when he decided he wanted to move out I allowed him to, but came to regret it. After that, I came to the conclusion that I wanted to reacquire him someday and began planning a new town that I could adopt him into, which would in time become my circus/magic show town. It took a little over a year from the time he left that one town, but I eventually got another copy of New Leaf to make that circus/magic show town and figured Mott would be one of the stars, since circuses famously tend to have lions. I like his design overall, the Jock personality works for him, and while the interior design of his house leaves a bit to be desired, I still like him a lot.

My second favorite, and who I was initially going to say was my current favorite since I plan to adopt him in New Horizons, is Bud. I like unique villager designs, so I'm a fan of the sunglasses and think he'd be a great resident in New Horizons since it's on an island. The interior design of his house might be a bit redundant though.

Honorable mentions to Aziz, Leopold, and Lionel. I like both Leopold and Lionel's designs, and they both have the great Smug personality. Haven't had either of them in a town yet, but would like to in the future. I guess I prefer Leopold a little bit more because, while Lionel has a pretty great interior design of his house, I don't really like the unnecessary cheeks Lionel has. As for Aziz, I've liked his look since I saw it in the Player's Guide for the GameCube game back in the day, but I've never had him either. I wish he would have returned in the Welcome Amiibo update. His blue mane makes for a good look and he stands out in a good way.

Hmm, I have never really been a fan of the lions either so it's kinda hard to pick a favorite. One of my favorite dream towns is that Japanese town that has all the lion villagers! It's super cute. I don't remember the Japanese name for the town but it's often just referred to as Lion Town. So I'm glad they get a lot of love from there.

But anyway, if I had to pick one I guess it would be Leopold. I like his astute look!

i do think bud's tiny pink shade's are pretty funny, as are his very tiny eyes underneath them so maybe him?

Lions are another species I am not very fond of. If I had to pick one I guess I would pick Rex, he is simple and friendly-looking and there is not really anything to dislike about him.

Also, I think it would be interesting to see a female lion design in the future...

I've never had any of the lion villagers in my towns, but I voted for Lionel. I really like the look of his white mane and moustache. He looks like a distinguished gentleman. Plus, his house is really nice.

Second place would probably go to Leopold. He looks very unique and cool as well. I'd love to have a lion move in one day. And I'd really like to see some lionesses added to the game.

Typically none lol. But I voted for Lionel (he’s on my brothers island and seems pretty cool) and Elvis I’ve bumped into a few times on mystery island he also seems pretty cool
