Favorite cranky villagers? Need advice

I have Elvis and he must go, I really didn't get along with him.
Do you have any cranky villagers you recomend?

Wolfgang! He’s a smart older gentleman whose design is much better in this game in my opinion. I also love Dobie and he’s a much older gentleman who just looked very sweet when I saw him on friends islands.

Kabuki maybe? His design is unique and his expressions are very very very good with his design!

I love Static! Other than him, all the cranky wolves are great - Wolfgang, Lobo, Dobie, Fang

Static is iconic but I also like Murphy, Bruce, Kabuki, Butch, Tom and all the cranky wolves lol

Octavian is my cranky villager, and I love him so much. He's like a sweet old grandpa that tells jokes and would let you get away with anything.

I have Wolfgang and Buzz on my islands.

I didn't even know Buzz existed until I came across him on a mystery island and he's very quickly become one of my favourite villagers.

Definitely a good pick if you want to be a quirky and unique zoomer like me

I love Walt! I didn't know male kangaroos were even a thing until I found him on a mystery island and I thought he was pretty cute so I invited him to my island. He's grown on me so much and I love this tough-guy kangaroo now.

You have to choose Gaston! If only for the backstory! He's an angry old yellow bunny.
In the original, his starting furniture was mad scientist themed, but now he lives in a rundown shack with peeling walls and cardboard furniture.

What could have happened to send him on the path of ruin? Did Kid Cat and his super hero gang defeat him? Maybe Mira? Who knows?

I personally really like Fang and Chief. But the other cranky wolf villagers, like Wolfgang and Dobie, are all solid choices in my opinion.

This reminds me that I still need to get a cranky villager in my island!

Tom is my favorite cranky villager, I also really like Kabuki, Static, Butch and Lobo.
I have Tom and Kabuki on my island. :3
