I know this sounds dumb, but has anyone ever been on one? I know plenty of people that have never been on one.
If you have, do you ever drive? I don't. My dad says he loves driving on the country roads too much to let me drive, even when it's just the two of us.

I went on 2, no, 4 this summer. Florida to Texas...Texas to Denver...Denver to Florida...Florida to Chicago...Chicago to Denver. I went with my grandparents for 3 of them...the last one my uncle...the first one my grandparents and mom/sister.

Been on a few with grandparents. Pretty boring, wouldnt do it again. unless Crystal goes.
I think they're kind of serene and relaxing when you take the back roads out into the country. That's what I love about the Texas is the scenery in the country. It's beautiful. That's where my dad gets some of his best pictures.

We once drove from Texas to North Carolina in our big red van (we sold it recently ;-;).
We stayed in 2 hotels & got lotsa food :].

Other than that, nope. & I never would dare to talk to my dad while he's driving. Not even to ask if I, a 12-year-old could drive a van full of 8 kids & two adults somewhere, haha.

Ohh, I know. My friend lives there & I love going to his house. It feels like you're a cowboy or something, haha kidding. It feels more like... I can't explain, but the scenery is pretty.

Been on plenty (5+ 24 hour drives to Florida, Chicago, Toronto, etc), and lemme tell you something guys. Cherish 'em. I doubt I'll be having one w/ my family any time soon, with college and all that. I'm gonna miss it, for sure.

No, but I really want to, my dad says he's going to buy an RV near Winter so he can take me to tons of places.

My mom wants to go to Colorado for the winter.

noooo
I live in Colorado. It's beautiful, clean, and fresh. You'll like your visit here! Especially in winter. Sure it's freezing outside, but the first snow is beautiful.

Which part of Colorado? I live in Denver.

Yup. Been on 'em. I find them pretty boring cuz I live in the countryside and know what it's all about.

I have been on MANY road trips with my family. My grandma lives in Kansas so when air fare use to be really expensive we would drive TWO days to Kansas ... I live in Connecticut. We have also driven to Florida and Michigan. They weren't that bad, except when my brother gets car sick and throws up everywhere in the car, which happens pretty much every trip. Gotta love family ;)

I love them. Pack some snacks and just sit back and take a nap, or look out the window, and listen to music. Enjoy the countryside flash by. Love it.

Oh? I'm not sure where she wants to go, she's just always had wild dreams to visit there since we've never really experienced snow.

Fresh is a good word to describe it.

Yeeaah.
Our last one we drove all the way to Edmonton and Calgary.
And no I didn't drive.

I've been on a lot.
We drove all the way from Texas to New York once..
then another time we drove from Oklahoma to South Dakota. That was extremely boring..
And then we drove from South Dakota to Minnesota.. That was the only trip I had my license for.. And I got to drive for about 2 hours.. Sooooo boring.

Hmm...I recommend going up to Estes Park, or Castle Rock. Estes Park has a really awesome scenery. It's basically on the Rockies. I moved here last summer, and every year right before winter we go horseback riding up there. It's amazing. Plus, it has that feeling that everything is old-fashioned and warm, etc. I love it.

Castle Rock has a lot of shops and stuff, not that amazing. Just a giant rock, pretty much. :D
I guess if you guys like to shop, it's fun, but Estes Park is better.

Boulder is also a cool place. They have bowling, festivals, lots of cool stuff. It's also beautiful.

The other place I recommend is Englewood. It's a smalltown, in a way. But a very fun smalltown. We've got INDOOR SKYDIVING. <3 I've never gone, but I plan to for my birthday. :)

Why would you want to know if we drive or not? Seriously, who gives a *censored.2.0*?

I'm going to ask my mom Estes Park. It seems really great.

I also love old-fashion things. You mean by that like in a log cabin with a fireplace? Or something else? xD

Aaaah, the joys :gyroidsideways:
