I think most people have been to some type of public fair, festival, or carnival. But even if you haven't, id imagine you have heard about some of the kinds of food that tend to show up at such events local to you.
>What are some of the carnival foods you really enjoy?
> Is there a type of carnival food you'd like to try sometime that you never had before?
I look forward to potentially hearing about all the variety of foods and names!
Where I am, elephant ears are common and popular carnival food for example. It is a fry bread with cinnamon and sugar. Warm and tasty, but best to have someone to share it with because it is big (and not very good for you either haha). For people who don't know what it is, the name throws them off and they find it bizarre. But the bread kinda resembles an elephant ear I guess and that is why it is called that.
