At school this year netbooks were released for all the students. They are great, but have a few problems, mainly with the Internet. My biggest problem is we can't download or install any other programs. We have to stick with Internet Explorer, and as you should all know, that is the worst web browser. Another problem is that when they were putting all these securities on, they made it so we can't put bookmarks on the bookmark bar. If they were to fix this, they would have to collect the netbooks again, do almost everything all over again, which would take at least a year, then give it back to us next year. Also, this is only my problem, but they made it so I can't save anything to my documents. No one else has this problem and my teacher tells me not to file a problem.

Sorry for all the ranting.

You could always try buying a memory stick for a few bucks and saving documents on there. Or does it not save altogether?

Sounds like a big waste of money. But at least they aren't spying on you with them like that one school did.

@Muffun They tell us to save it in your documents, but mine doesn't work. I can save it anywhere else, but still.

@Jeremy They are spying on us. No kidding.

My cousin went to that school. :O

Does your school district have a server on First Class? You could just save it there. Or get a USB.

Netbooks at all = better then nothing.
Very true. Last year we had 5-10 year old laptops that took 20 minutes to start up and had a 10 minute battery life.
You get laptops?

Sounds like some money.

Well, why don't you just h4ck it l33tly.

Use your home computer. Meanwhile, be thankful you live in a public school district that has far above average funding.

Problem solved?

My school district has like 4 mac labs that hold like 30+ macs.

Yet we can't afford to get better lunches...

We keep these to Grade 12, and we use them at school to work on assignments. I can't hack it or they would know. They actually are watching us.

Haha, my school district would be waaaaay too cheap to ever get anything but a dell and definitely not ever give them to the students.

my thoughts, pretty much.

those things are *censored.2.0*. end of story.
they're just trying to look good by giving you those, so they attract more of the high-brow parents/students, so they get more back from them.

or some other kind of paranoia.

why the hell did you come to an animal crossing forum to discuss your school's failures, btw?

Publics schools get nothing from the parents of their students.

This is not any kind of paranoia.

Good question.

Maybe because Brewster's Cafe is for random things, and this is random.

And yes, you should be happy you have those computers, the ones at my school are crap, and they still run on 2000.

Stupid question. Only a few people on this forum discuss animal crossing on it.
