Seeing as I just changed my username, I thought I’d tell my story.
BiggestFanofACCF originates from kind of why I joined TBT in the first place. I was a huge fan of the pre-New Leaf Animal Crossing games, especially City Folk, which I first played in July of 2015. (Side Note: I used to be a bit of a New Leaf hater, but am more appreciative of it and feel like I took it for granted post-New Horizons.) I felt like people should know about that. I also saw a lot of criticisms of CF on the web (which is fine, everyone has their own opinions), so I must’ve thought ‘I’m the biggest fan of City Folk!’ and so that’s where my username came from. I only ever used that username for TBT, nowhere else.
In 2020 I quit playing Animal Crossing (mostly). I’m not going to go into why as it’s not relevant to the topic.
With that said, although I’m not a fan of AC anymore, I still like TBT. So I figured I’d finally change my username after many years. I purchased a Username Change item in 2017, but for whatever reason didn’t use it until now.
The reason why I changed my username is because the old username did not represent the current me. It worked for me back when I first joined, though, and I do not regret sticking with it for over six years.
My new username, Mars Adept, is a reference to Golden Sun, which I’m obsessed with right now. Adepts are characters who can use special powers known as Psynergy. There’s four types: Venus (earth), Mars (fire), Jupiter (wind), and Mercury (water). I feel like I would be a Mars Adept due to my impatient, angry, and impulsive nature, and not being afraid to speak out in what I believe in.
I’m not sure how long I’ll stick with it, but it fits me now, and that’s what matters.

my old username was something dumb i made up when i was like 13 so. i wanted to change it to something shorter and related to my interests, and death note is one of my favorite anime and also one of the first i ever watched (and ryuk is my fav)

Well, back in 2008 I logged on Animal Crossing Community (Don't ever log on there, I swear) and that was my name my Mom chose for me. Ever since I logged on here, it rather grew on me to the point it's my username under every site I register on.

My name is based on Don Quixote from Cervantes book Don Quixote. I used the name first when I played a game. It would not let me put an o in the name, so I had to put a different letter in. Not sure why I picked that character when there were other characters in media I liked.

My current username I chose because it's similar to another name I like to go by, and honestly I just like how it sounds.
I also wanted something a bit shorter, because having to type of Believe_In_Kittens especially on mobile whenever I wanted to log in was a pain honestly

The adjective "confused" is because I stay pretty much in my own world and fantasies, so I often seem confused lol. Indeed people keep telling me to stay more on earth hehe...

The real reason is after I changed my old username (koopadude100), I wanted a username that was new, but people and close friends would still recognize me, and from that, king koopa was born!
