Ever been lucky enough to have tier 1 or 2 villagers as starters?

Yes! In my cycling town I had Fauna as starter, and then a few days later Fang, Marshal, Zucker and Ankha moved in naturally.
After a while I messed up resetting for smugs and accidentally got Julian @_@

I had Lolly and Marshal as starters, along with Genji, Tom, and Lobo . But they're all gone now haha

I had Fang and Kid Cat as starters. Not sure what tier Mitzi or Eugene are. Still have them. Of my starters I still have Fang, Kid Cat, Mitzi, Eugene, and Anchovy. Had them for over a year now.

When I first stared my town I had Beau as a starter I didn't even know he was popular ^.^

I don't think so. The popular ones out of ny default villagers were O'Hare and Drago, but the rest were just.. Eh :/

After resetting my boyfriend's town back then I got Merengue as a starter.
The second time I got Coco and Kabuki which was a funny combo in my humble opinion.

I actually started with an entire village full of first tiers... sadly I restarted because my town was hideous
