Ever been lucky enough to have tier 1 or 2 villagers as starters?

As for high tier villagers, I got most that I wanted because of generous people who offered me, either because they saw me giving away villagers to others for free, got a villager from me for free, or (as to how I received Molly) saw that my town was devastated by a mentally disturbed guest.

A guest destroying my town is literally my greatest AC fear. I can't imagine. I would just curl up and cry.

Side note, I started with Beau and Julian moved in so that was lucky xD

Two aspects of the incident were most notable to me:

1. The person who did it most likely was a participant in one of my giveaways shortly before the incident.

2. The person showed signs of malice: well after taking all hybrids and Jacob's Ladders, then digging up all bushes and rare tree stump designs, the person spent plenty of time digging up random holes throughout the town (never mind that save and quit removes them; the message is the point), and cut down trees on a random basis (presumably because s/he did not have a gold axe).

I had Stitches right off the bat... but I didn't know she was popular... so when she moved out she got Voided... shame!
that actually happened a lot now that i think about it... like, people actually want Flurry and Frita? well shoot lol I let them go to the void

I started off with Tia which was awesome, because I wanted her. She still is living in town.

My 5 starter villagers were: Rosie, Butch, Kid Cat, Zell and Chrissey I believe
So my town was flawless

I had a cycle town with, among its starters, the Lazy deer Beau and the Normal duck Molly.

I ended up transferring them to my second town Progress.

(I have since given away Beau, and I am contemplating resetting Progress.)

I had Flurry and Rudy (though he's a tier 3) when I first started. Rudy's still in my town. It was hard letting Flurry go, she had the sweetest personality and I really liked her. One of her most adorable features was running up to me when she wanted something and doing this ridiculously cute swaying dance. I still see her on Main Street sometimes.

I had stitches as a starter. I loved him and thought he was great but I didn't really understand how valuable he was since I wasn't part of this forum. He's long gone now so I'm bummed out that I never got a chance to sell him to someone on here who really wanted him.

I have gotten Beau, Chief and Diana as starters. I had Julian move in 6th in my main town. My SO only played the game once and the first time he started his town he got Stitches as a starter... and then proceeded to never play again. ._.
