I like the idea of something like Reverie.
Since it means lost in your thoughts or daydreaming, you could make it fit any theme. A fantasy town, a nice town with a darker undertone, an island trapped in time, or anything like that.

Someone has already suggested that uwu, need a different idea for entry.

My island name suggestion is Strelitzia

Strelitzia is the genus name for the flower "birds of paradise" and obviously your new island is going to be a paradise also because the name just sounds cool

Haha, but I really love the suggestion by @Meadows earlier of Santonio or even SANDtonio
It didn't rely on an outside fandom, isn't seasonal, and it seems personalized and memorable.

That is the name of the main destination in Xenoblade Chronicles 2, here is a description of it's traditional meaning "Elysium, also called Elysian Fields or Elysian Plain, in Greek mythology, originally the paradise to which heroes on whom the gods conferred immortality were sent."

My suggestion is: Danny Street

In Doom Patrol, Danny the Street is a sentient street who offers a fun, safe place to live where no one is judged and everyone can be themselves. I think it'd be fun to name your town after Danny so you and all your villagers could be official Dannyzens. Who wouldn't want to live in such an open and accepting place?

The Shire would be a good name for an island! If you wanna go for something more cottagecore/nature/fairycore themed, it'd be the perfect name for an island with that theming! Even if you wanna go for some other kind of theme, can't go wrong with LOTR inspired names!

Island name: Moondrop

Inspired by both Stardew Valley and Story of Seasons - Moon (Star) Drop (Dew) and of course, the moondrop flowers specifically from Harvest Moon BTN (Back to Nature) but they are also in other SoS games, too. It also makes me think about the eerie yet mystical Moon's Tear from LoZ Majora's Mask. The island name can go well with celestial/nature themes, and you could even have an area with the Moon item and some jacob's ladders surrounding it, kind of like a place of magic.

It's a bit difficult to recommend a town name without knowing your preferences - so I'm going to think of names for classic Animal Crossing towns; foresty, small town vibes. I would like to recommend Wanderlake. I really like it because it sounds a bit cozy.
