Empty The Cooler Glitch

Was playing online earlier with a friend and after one round of the fishing tourney, CJ told us to empty the cooler but for me the cooler was empty. While fishing, the fish were going into my pocket and not into the cooler. This soft locked the tournament until multi player was ended and the game was restarted. Has anyone run into this? I suspect it was triggered because I was inside when my friend started the timer.

Same happened with me while hosting 2 friends. We couldn't fix it, we had to end the session and we also restarted the game... It only happened once but yes, very pretty annoying!

Have not run into any issues, but I was playing single player.

I'm starting to think Nintendo playtested single player, but didn't do very much testing for multiplayer. Not all, but most of, the glitches seem multiplayer-related.
