Dream Suite might be heading to Animal Crossing: New Horizons

This is just a thought, but I can see it being added later on due to the real-time “schedule” this game has been on. What I mean, is that town developments (aka game updates) seem to pop up gradually in line with how far along players who started on release are likely to be.

An example is the museum: at first there’s only natural exhibits, because Blathers specifically came to study the Island environment. Then, just in time for release day player’s store to upgrade, fine art is added—it makes perfect sense, because your community is actually becoming more of a town. Not including something like the Dream Suite from the start could be a way to give day-by-day players enough time to terraform. It would put them and people who TT on equal playing ground when it comes to showing off their work.

Or maybe Nintendo is just running behind schedule or saving content to give the game more longevity

I think they'll limit the number of additional buildings but the downside is even with the Redd addition people needed to rethink their island.
My three wishes for NH: Dream Suite, Coffee and Swimming-- the first two being rather contradictory but I want them all the same

omg please. the dream suite is the one feature i’m dying for. i’d love for it to come back ;u;

Oh, I 100% believe this. I think the way things are set up, even in the base game, will change over time: we'll get new items when new Nook store upgrades are added (the same way you can't purchase specific furniture or clothes until you've gotten specific Nook upgrades or the Able Sisters shop), we'll get a proper post office with much better facilities, we'll unlock new hairstyles and emotes when Shrunk and Harriet are added in... it's a game very much more dedicated in keeping you playing in the long run than previous ACs, and I'm honestly really liking that? We don't know what's going to happen next, and that's EXCITING!

No, I think you get it. Ninty is treating this like a real deserted island and things are only attracted to it over time, like KK was. Basically, you better include buildings like the cafe and a place for KK (unless he’s in the cafe) in your plans, because they are all coming and always were.

I would love if they added this feature back in. A recent interview with the games director said they are planning on adding features and content to the game for at least a couple of years, so i'm pretty sure this feature would make an appearance at some point.

The cafes already confirmed as a new extra building. I'm imagining kicks will be as well, and they need to add in label/gracie/possibly leif, then there was katrinas as well, if they're going down that route! This is why i think people need to be slower fixing their islands. Its not a game you ever got everything all in one go! There's so much missing from NH....

It may be an unpopular opinion but I personally don't think we NEED a dream suite. I mean, unlike NL we already have the ability to travel to someone else's island without giving out a FC which I LOVE and wish they had done with NL. But I felt like the dream suite was a good alternative for people that wanted to show off their island without risking adding strangers and having them come over to your island. Now with the addition of the Dodo code, you have the option to do just that and it gives strangers limited access to your island. So I personally don't see the need for one.
