I've always been in the habit of making guy characters in games because less people try to hit on you and for some games the design is better for guys, the latter doesn't apply to Animal Crossing so much but it's a force of habit for me at this point.

My mayor used to look like me, but I completely changed her appearance over the summer. Now she has short red hair and black eyes (no, not THAT kind XD). My other characters never looked like me in the first place.

No actually, I like making my mayor have a bunch of different looks and hair styles. I kinda wish I looked like she did sometimes though! I'd love to have blue hair and be able to rock dresses like she can. I guess I express myself through them in a way.

My mayor has blue eyes like me, but we have different eye shapes and her hair is blonde, while mine is chestnut brown. Pretty different. In my old town, my mayor looked like me (and we even had the same name), but I figured I'd go for a change

I know what you mean. I knew a guy who ran a little experiment with this game. He walked around as his male character, being ignored most of the time. He changed his character to a girl, and told me something within the lines of "Everyone's being too nice now." Or something like that.

Yep! Both my major and I have darker blonde hair and green eyes x3 I like my playing characters to atleast look a little similar to me or else it feels weird. XD

I've always decorated my characters to look a little like me. I'm not sure why I've always done this... Anyways, do you decorate your character to look like you? Or however you feel like you want to decorate it?

I originally wanted to make the mayor look like me but I have butt length hair with side swept bangs and there's no option for that so she can't look exactly like me unfortunately. I usually wear my hair in a long braid in the back or side too but animal crossing only has simple and short styles

Plus she looks boring with black hair, brown eyes, and a ponytail and I'd rather make her not be plain. I think she's much cuter with the bow wig and white hair like in my sig.

Not at all lmao. She has like white hair, those greyish blue eyes. I guess the only thing slightly similar is short hair. She's like my alter ego. I would have white hair if I could. When it comes to clothes, I definitely have her wearing more cutesy lolita type stuff which I would totally wear irl btw but I'm not wild enough~
