Does your character still have a reaction to the weather?

I remember in New leaf if your character was wearing long sleeves and pants in the summer, as soon as they walk out of the house they would be sweating, while for the winter if they were wearing shorts they would do the freezing reaction. Is it present in New horizons, because I feel like those little details made animal crossing even more better, despite them being trivial.

Hmm...I hope so.

Haven't personally seen the heat of summer or cold of winter yet...so I can't say. But, I would imagine they would also react to the rain...which I definitely haven't seen. Holding out hope for the summer and winter reactions. I did enjoy those.

I didn’t even realise this in NL! I have noticed my clothes look wet when it’s raining but haven’t seen summer yet. Will see if I notice any little changes!

My character didn’t react to the heat this morning when he left his home, but Bones did ask me why I was wearing a coat, if I was sweating, but came to the conclusion that I was just keeping my coffee warm haha.

My character has not reacted in heat while wearing a sweater or snow while wearing short sleeves. Villagers so comment on your inappropriate seasonal wear.

molly gave me an umbrella once when it was raining, it was so sweet! she had dialogue relating to it, wasn’t just a random gift.

Idk if this is true, but I saw my character wet in the game while it was raining, the clothes looked a bit shiny.
along these lines, maybe i'm just imagining it, but once you get an umbrella it seems like your clothes get "dry" again

Talked to Cherry this morning and she said "Your hibiscus muumuu says just about everything that's gotta be said about this heat..."

Very nice detail, but I haven't seen my character react to weather unless being wet from rain counts lol

I haven't noticed my character having a reaction, but I've been wearing a lot of short sleeved things already because I live in Florida, and it's hot in the spring time. haha. I'm hoping if I wore something long sleeved she'd react though. And vice versa in the winter. :) It's a nice detail.

they dont necessarily react to temperature, but to other elements- wind ruffles clothes and hair, rain makes the character look shiny/the colour change depending on the type of clothing, winter makes breathing visible so far

I TTed a lot back in March and my character didn't react to the weather at all, despite wearing the same light coat in summer and winter. But I do love how clothes look soaked if you don't carry an umbrella!

Ive noticed that my villagers have been going around eating icecream, perhaps because of the heat, or has that always been a feature...?!

Villagers eating food and drinking beverages has always been a feature in NH. I have no idea if they have any kind of preferences that they only eat/drink during certain seasons, but I'm pretty sure I've seen them eating ice cream a couple of times since March.

I've TT-ed a bit to move villagers in and out but afaik there are no weather reactions. For example, my islander was in winter in short sleeves and didn't do anything out of the ordinary. Villagers do seem to react to the weather though, thankfully!
