today its raining, just started an hour ago,
and all of a sudden its raining in animal crossing too o - o

coincidence?

Not really.
I haven't had any rain IRL for weeks yet it still rains in the game several times.

not that i'm aware of

No, it doesn't show you the exact weather with rain and stuff at the same time, that was a coincidence. But yes, if it's the middle of the Summer it won't start snowing.

huh. i thought maybe it had something to do with it, since i have input the region i live in into my 3DS, for the mii plaza thing for example, how it detects where other players are from when you streetpass.

It's definitely just a coincidence. A few days ago, I had a heavy thunderstorm in-game, while it was a beautiful bright day outside.

i think it's tied to weather patterns in japan. Since summer months are the rainy season in Asia i think. So that's the main probable cause of all the rain.

I don't think so. It was raining in my town yesterday and here in Cypress it rained a little this morning, but when I went on my game it wasn't raining. It's probably just a coincidence. :)

For the longest time, the weather in my game would happen to correspond with the weather outside~
It was actually pretty cool rofl.

Haha I say it doesn't, but it's been matching up pretty well the past few days for me.

But I don't think it truly does. If you put your information in your 3DS for where you live, it could access that but I highly doubt that's what it does.

It would be an awesome feature for future AC games. But right now it doesn't.
