Does TT backwards stop someone from moving in

okay so i went to someones town to get ankah and she said she was moving in but does going back in time ruin that because i went back to fix the date and theres not a plot for her! maybe its cause i went back and not forward though right?

It depends really. If you didn't save once you saw she was moving in and then TT backwards and then saved I don't think she would move in however if you saw she was moving in and saved, she would move in the next day(The day you TT forward on if that makes sense)

I'm not sure but from what I've read TT backwards is just the same as TT forward because the game counts it as 1 day regardless of it being forward of back and it takes a day-few days I think? before thay move in. Also if theres an event, then that might be the reason (fireworks show on Sunday~)
