does trading give anyone else anxiety?

Depends on the person ^^ A little bit though. I'm so so slow at typing on the 3DS and I always have a million typos or look awkward for saying "hello" 10 minutes later due to my slow typing haha. I also don't feel comfortable with people roaming my town because I'm paranoid somebody will trample my flowers by mistake or take something ;; I also worry about iffy internet crashing during a trade and causing the save to be lost.

I was at first but have got use to it. My worry was lagging and error message. If I host I make sure to save as soon as we do the trade. That way we don't have to do it all over again.
I like when the visitor types bye and than I just end the session. Or I just type end when I visit.

It used to, but I've done quite a few by now and I actually kind of like it. Usually I prefer going to other people's towns because I'm shy about my messy WIP town, but having someone over to pick up a villager wasn't bad at all, so in the future I might feel better about being the host more often.
same i get very self conscious of my town xD

The first few times I was a bit nervous, but thankfully I've traded with several lovely people here that I got used to it. Usually I would greet the person, exchange items/bells and then say thank you and good bye before the session ends.

Strangely no. I actually really like it and have traded hundreds of times without any issue. ^^ My biggest problem is knowing when to end the session; sometimes the guest starts heading to the train station to leave while I'm still typing "bye" haha.. Or in other towns I hesitate, waiting for them to end, and it turns out they're waiting for me to leave via train station.

Errgh, I have the same problem. I've gotten into the habit of saying, "I'll end it, then?" to try and fix the issue when I'm hosting, but it still doesn't always work. I usually wait for them to say, "Okay. Bye!" and which point I say, "Bye!" and end it, but sometimes they just stand there thinking I'm going to end it immediately (without even saying "bye!" no less). Also, sometimes they don't know what "ending it" means, so they end up saying, "Okay. Bye!" and then run towards the station anyways.

I have social anxiety in general, so I do get a little anxious when doing trades. Usually it's about whether or not I messed up and got the wrong item or something like that. It's gotten better as I've made more trades, but I noticed that if I go a long period of time without trading with anyone, I get significantly more anxious and flustered for the trade that breaks me out of the hiatus.

no
iunno i just flip wifi switch if something goes wrong or someone tries to save

Before trading on this site, I was very anxious about trading because I heard so many bad stories. Like before I tried going for the train station upgrade I was so scared of letting people into my town in fear of something being stolen, flowers trampled etc. But it got easier with the flow of lovely people who helped.

I do get anxious when I have people waiting to trade though ><

Not really. Actually socializing/hanging out with others does make me a bit anxious, but I find trades to be pretty straightforward. I've traded hundreds of times (and thankfully have never had a bad experience) so I've gotten used to it I guess.

Not much, but I hate the chat, especially when I'm busy typing and miss another person's message because I was looking at the keyboard. So I'm really short at words and trying to type as fast as possible and make a lot of errors as a result. :<
The akward part for me is when I visit another person's town for trade I usully do things quickly, thank the host and leave immediately, even though I really would like to look around the town a little, but I don't know if the host like it or not. And after leaving sometimes I have second thoughts that it could look a little rude and what if the person actually wanted me to stay little longer and play.

yes. even when cycling i do. i get really nervous and stressed for some reason
