does anyone keep their dreamies original?

does anyone move in their dreamies and keep them all original, or does everyone just gift them stuff regardless? im not sure if i wanna make all mine original or not

I like to give my dreamies clothing that I think would suit them, I don't really send them much in the way of furniture.

I mostly keep mine original. If they come up with an awesome nickname that's fine of course. I usually gift them one really good item too for permanent villagers, often either of the crowns.

I love giving them gifts. Some of the houses I don't want to change, but giving them gifts is just so rewarding (those I'll mostly give clothing of wall items)

I love giving them gifts and dressing them up and giving them cute little furniture gifts! but I won't change their catchphrases. not sure why. maybe because I can't think of anything to give them or bc I think it's part of their character!! where as what they wear/have in their house are just accessories.

that's what i do! i gave octavian space related or japanese stuff, same for zucker bc his house is a japanese festival stand, and pink things for marina

I give them gifts because I already know I’m going to keep them, but when it’s a villager in on the fence about I won’t give them gifts just in case someone would like to have them.

I give all my villagers gifts and think about what fits. My Jock villagers get all sporty stuff, my snooty some fancy stuff etc.
What's the fun in not giving them anything they like? That's part of the game.

I love gifting my villagers things and changing catchphrases and all that, I feel like it makes them more personal to me! especially when having a couple popular ones and seeing them everywhere, I want to make them a little more unique ;o;
