Does anyone else takes pictures of your villagers before they're moving out?

So, Soleil asked me to leave the island today and I allowed her to go. I had mixed feelings because I like her, but I also need to get Bill and I needed to move someone out. My island will lack a smug and a snooty now. Also, my nephew felt as bad as I did when I told him she was going to leave (even if after that he was ridiculously happy to know that Bill is finally coming home).

So I took the opportunity to use Harvey's island to take a farewell picture, with all the villagers together. I recreated my main room in there, and changed some of their clothes. I missed that opportunity when my first villager moved out (Tex).

Aww that's so cute! This is such a great idea! I usually just take a pic of them in boxes and how they'll miss my island, but I should take them to Harv's island next time!

So cute!!!! I take pics with them in boxes or just after they ask. This really great, looks like a goodbye party. I will probably do this when I start rotating some plots each 2 or 3 months to meet new villagers.

I usually don't get everyone together for a group picture, but I like to get a picture of the villager in boxes and their goodbyes. I'll keep this in mind for the next time though! This is a cute idea

I take screenshots of big events like when they move in or out as sort of a photo journal for myself. Never thought to use Harv’s island to do it though! looks like Soleil got a rocking farewell party.

I just have sad pictures of them in boxes :c

I do take many picture's of my villagers just walking around/in their house so that makes up for only taking sad moving pictures lol

yes!!!! because the lack of goodbye letters saddens me, or if never acquired their pic, i have no choice but to go to harvey's and make a souvenir myself

I did it today for Phoebe, the sweet sisterly girl. We took some photos at Harv's island. I don't really want her to go yet but since she's my starter villager, I don't want her stucked in her basic house. So I agree to let her leave. We will see you again, Phoebe.

BTW, how did you get villagers to react? I pressed A but no one follows my reaction.

That’s so cute! I’ve taken pictures with them in their homes, before their things were all boxed up, but didn’t think to do this! Maybe I’ll have to next time...

I made Soleil use that reaction and then I entered photo mode, with everyone looking at the camera (there's a command for that) and smiling.
