Does anyone else have shooting stars almost every night?

I see people saying that they never have shooting stars... In the last two weeks, there's only been one day I didn't see any.

It's not always a "meteor shower"... Some nights over the course of 4-5 hours of play time, I might only see 3-4 stars... But they're there. The one night I didn't see any, I only had time to play for like an hour.

I don't think I just got lucky and had two continuous weeks of shooting stars... I feel like they MUST be an every day thing, and the people not seeing them aren't playing as much at night?

Anyone else have this experience?

...I actually didn't realize you got shooting stars at night if there wasn't a meteor shower. Perhaps that's why we're all seriously under-reporting our numbers!

Yeah, I mean, this is all just anecdotal, I haven't dug in to the game's code or anything, and I'm DEFINITELY a night owl, so I probably play after dark more than most.. but you just have to listen for the ding. And usually if there's one, one or two more will follow within a minute or so... And that might be it for the night. But I for sure see at least two or three almost every single night.

I've experienced shooting stars without having a meteor shower, too. Not every night though, I think so far it was only two times. I usually play around three or four hours at night.

If it's a clear night I think there will always be at least a few shooting stars every now and then. I know I miss most of them though because I usually play with the game on mute and can't always see the sky

Celeste definitely doesn't show up almost every night, I'm pretty sure she's once a week.. but the stars should be there if you give it enough time!

i don’t - i have shooting stars maybe twice a week, at most? i only get an actual meteor shower maybe 1-2 times per month aha

I’m a night owl and always playing at night with my volume up. I have yet to have a meteor shower and I’ve only seen shooting stars once in my town. I’ve had to visit other people’s to get any fragments

Aha I wish! (Literally) I’ve only had them once - and it wasn’t a shower either, just a few
I should probably turn my volume up more at night so I have better chances of spotting them, I’ve also never had an announcement from Isabelle of a mention from any of my other villagers about them

I get 1-2 shooting stars randomly and it always catches me off guard like, "WUZZAT?!" I tend to get smaller meteor showers where you have to wait a bit for the next round. The bigger ones are more rare.

I did though get a big one two days ago which was pretty cool.
