I've had my current town for about one and a bit years now and I have never seen a sick villager! I wonder if the beautiful town ordinance affects the chances?

Have you ever seen a sick villager, and if so how many? :)

Thank you~ <3

I haven't seen a sick villager for so long that I honestly forgot the feature even existed. My villagers in City Folk seemed to get sick all the time but for some reason my New Leaf villagers have the strongest immune systems in the known universe.

I used to get a lot of sick villagers until the Amiibo update.I haven't had any since then so I believe it's something Nintendo eliminated with the update.

Well I heard from the new update, villagers wont get sick or something, i'm not to sure.
I had a game before that update if NL. Two villagers that left my town got sick. It was Peck and Colton.
Colton was playing Only Me in his house. It made the situation worse :(

Breaking news: Scientists prove Amiibo cure all known diseases! Nintendo stock has risen by 1000% as humanity moves into a new age of immortality.

Here's something I haven't seen since the cure-all Amiibo update.I never really liked having a sick villager because you had to give them medicine for three days in a row and they would just trudge around in their house shivering all three days.I bet poor Derwin was in a fowl mood when I took this screenshot........yeah,sorry about that one.....

Since I always have beautiful town ordinance, I don't get sick villagers anymore since the update, but before the update, I got them all the time. Not sure why they changed that.

My theory is that the Amiibo update gave the players a lot more stuff to do and perhaps Nintendo thought that sick villagers occupied too much of the players' time so they did away with under the weather villagers.

I think eliminating illness for the villagers was a decision, in part, to get the villagers out of their houses. When they were sick, they had to stay inside. Perhaps the “Welcome amiibo” update, which happened in November 2016, figured it needed to increase likelihood of a villager pinging a human.

Even before the update I don’t remember villagers getting sick too often. It was a unique interaction that I miss a little though. I never really buy medicine at the shops because bee stings can be cured by exiting the game and villagers give you medicine for that anyways. I liked taking caring of my animals :(

the last I remember was aurora celebrating her birthday, and then getting sick the day after

someone clearly went way too heavy on the cake

I never really liked it when villagers got sick, but now that the feature is permanently gone I sort of miss it. I think they should've just reduced the time that villagers were sick, instead of removing it altogether.
