Do you put water on your hands, use soap and then wash your hands or do you just put soap on your hands and wash them? I know it's a random question but I really am curious.

i thought everyone wet their hands before soap? just like you'd wet the toothbrush before toothpaste, and how you'd wet your clothes before adding detergent?

yeah. same with my tooth brush (minus the soap part)

Interesting question! I always put water on my hands first, I used to be really confused when I saw people just using soap.

I voted yes, if it's a bar of soap then yeah, if it's the squirty (?? ew) type then no, soap first

I wet my toothbrush before, because if I don't, it's stiff as hell and hurts.

yes, I wet my hands slightly before soap to help the lather.

No? Tbh I just realized I have no idea if I do or not

I wet my hands after there is soap on them to conserve water. I'm not sure if the "no" answer means you rub the soap on without any water at all or what?

I do it always. It's like a bad habit to me.

EDIT: But if you don't turn on the water first, won't you get soap all over the sink when you turn it on??

Ever since I saw this cheesy video in kindergarten I always wet my hands before soap. I have no idea why that stuck with me, but it did
