Do you wet your hands before using soap?

wet one hand, use the dry hand to pump soap so water doesn't get all over my counter, then wet the other hand & lather up

i always wet my hands before i use soap. the feeling of rubbing soap on your dry hands just bothers me. i mean, it feels kinda weird and sticky. sometimes i just rinse my hands for a good 10 seconds then im done.
