As title said. I was wondering if you guys still keep the friend code or delete it after trading.. And is there any way to know if the person already deleted our friend code?

I keep all friend codes until they are no longer online for much
You can tel when you've been deleted by someone as they will show as offline and last online will be longer and longer and then it won't show when they were last online

It depends if I think I'll be done with trading for a while or not. Once I don't need to do any trading or anything, I usually go an clean out anyone that hasn't been online in a while. If it was purely business, then there's no point in keeping them as a contact.

Not right away. I usually delete them after I feel like there's too many people on the list.

I delete people when my list is full, but normally i'm too lazy to do that or i forget about it lmao

Yes, I do. In fact, I do it immediately after the trade is finished. I don't want random people showing up in my town and I don't want to accidentally go to theirs.

I don't delete friend codes after trading. Who knows, they may become your best friend or you have to trade again with them. But I will delete them because I have 8_ friend codes ;-;

Eh, if we decide to trade again later on, I add them back in. I don't hang out with people I trade with, though. I have very few actual "friends" that I play with. I don't enjoy having people in my town, to be honest.

I delete shortly after trading, usually. I would rather spend a minute or two to delete people weekly, than spend the 30 minutes sifting through the FC List once it's too full to add someone new. Even then, I know someone who only deletes people when they need too add someone. To me its kind of a pet peeve, lol. Like, if you do a bunch of trading online you should know that list will fill a bit faster. I can see waiting a week in case repeat customers but even then. I was once put on hold because someone was deleting their FC List before our trade and I didn't actually have time for that so I missed the trade and their whole "if you miss your trade window oh well" thing kicked in like you made me miss my window, why do I get punished for it? After 30 minutes of my 45 minute window I just kinda gave up and figured they would make up for it but nope. Sold he items I was gonna buy anyway. Found the items I wanted cheaper anyway.

TL;DR: don't be lazy if you know your gonna fill that list up, or at least don't be a snot like people have been to me when the lists were full and they weren't paying attention, making it like it was my fault their list was previously full. ;-;

I delete people soon after we've traded, I don't want someone to randomly come to my town if I open my gate.

I don't because I'm pretty sure we will be trading again and often do. Plus I have met some really great friends whilst trading. Now, if I inadvertantly do what I did yesterday and visit someone by accident, I may have to start deleting. My memory is very bad due to a physical condition and I have been known to just forget things from one second to the next, lol.

Not usually. Even if it's just business, you might become really close buds, who knows?

I don't usually but I'm gonna have to start because I only have like 6 more spots then I'll have 100 friends on my list.

A nice way you can tell is if you write down their FC, delete them, then readd them. If you have to type a name, they've deleted you. I don't find the "wait until their last online gets longer and longer" is a good way of telling because my sister's last online ended up getting longer and longer until eventually it didn't show up but I know she still has me on her friends list because I use her DS on a regular basis. Sometimes that happens because they've decided to hide their online status, or generally don't connect their DS to the Internet as much, or have 2 DS systems they use and haven't used the one they added you on.

Every few days I go in and delete everyone who isn't an IRL friend.

I can't keep everyone for so long. It would make it too hard to sift through when it gets full.
