Do you TT? For what reason?

I used to TT constantly in new leaf. In fact, before new horizons I didn't even know what playing day by day without tting would look like, because as soon as I started my grand 2000 hour animal crossing new leaf adventure I immediately time travelled and never stopped

I decided to go cold turkey in this game, and I'm loving it. this fits my playstyle so much better and I adore it.
I can't bear the thought of time travelling anymore. this is not me bashing tting by the way of course lol, I still have fond memories of new leaf and some people enjoy the playstyle more, but I can't believe what I was missing this whole time. and since I'm looking to 100% complete the game eventually, I think it will feel extra special since I've never tt'd.

I feel much more of a connection to my villagers which I never felt in new leaf due to neglecting them too much, and doing the regular daily things every day makes me legitimately look forward to waking up, which is not an easy feeling to achieve

Yes, I tt’d in the first few weeks after realease for the inclines and bridges. Then to get villagers in and out. Then stopped. I started tting again so I can get some seasonal diys since I won’t be able to play much if at all soon cus of work. But so far I have only been able to a week a head of the current date. Didn’t realize that my laziness extends to even video games.

I TT mostly for moving out villagers, campsite method, or when I want to move buildings : I prefer to play the game naturally outside of that.

Initially I was adamant that I wouldn't TT as I wanted to enjoy the game, but then I TT'ed to get my rocks in a specific place and I'm really struggling not to keep doing it. Oh I did it when I moved Fauna out so I could find a replacement. I always go back to the current day though.

Also when I did TT I didn't buy from the shops, shoot down balloons or collect bottles.

Same thread, different day.

I TT because... that's my playstyle. Nothing else to it.
