do you try and keep your villagers' houses original?

do you try and keep your villagers' houses original? most of my villagers' houses are like trash filled with shirts that i've sent them and furniture from retail and other villagers. it's mostly my original villagers. the villagers that i bought which were julian and bam, had their houses in decent shape. the only problem was that julian's house had the furniture in the wrong spots. the auctioneer didn't tell me, and it kinda pisses me off since i spent 25mil on him thinking that he was an original unicorn. bam was only 5 million and his house was 99.999% original except for an extra item on the wall. he also had different clothes, but he costed me 5 times less.

how are your villagers' houses currently? are they trash or are they original?

I think the only one in relatively decent shape is Marshal. I don't know if he's original, but he's pretty close. He's also wearing is original clothes. I don't try to keep my villagers original because I really don't care. I'm hardly ever in their houses anyway, and they're going to change it whether I like it or not. Beau's house bothers me though because it's just so empty. I've been meaning to send him some stuff but I keep forgetting.

Only for a few, I don't mind since most of my villager houses are now unoriginal. I just want to get the villagers ORIGINAL first then I can later make it unoriginal by myself, I'm weird that way D:

So far, I've kept Diana's house fully original and I had her for a month, and Marshal's house is original too except for a sailor shirt. Peanut's house is original, not her shirt. c: <3 Julian is unoriginal since I got him for free from a friend and I'm trying to restore his house LOL

My view on it as that, if you put so much effort into all the other aesthetics, why not villager homes woops my question mark key is broken. That and I`m too fat to actually think up of new furniture layouts for them so I can make them decorate accordingly 8`D

I like to try my best, but my villagers like to make it difficult for me. Gladys' is especially a wreck, it's full of butterflies and random furniture. I've heard that normals like to slowly empty their houses, but I'm not sure if that's only true for other games. The rest of my villagers have mostly accurate houses, give or take a few missing furniture items and some random shirts scattered all over the place.

Actually ever since I started getting into TBT is when i started getting insecure about how their houses looked?
I would be upset if villagers I paid 25m for weren't original so I totally get you though. But to answer your question all of my villagers house look like a warehouse except Flo's and my most recent move ins n.n

I don't try to keep my villagers' homes original, nor do I care if they're original or not when I get them.

As of recently, I am trying to make their houses look better since some furniture look out of place (ex: robot furniture in Beau's nature-ish home)

Francine's house has been littered with random furniture...I used to make them buy fossils (I get 9-10k each piece), but then I sent them other furniture.
As to my more newer villagers, I have not done anything, unless they requested for furniture or if they got it themselves :|

I don't really try to keep them original. My villagers make it pretty hard to do anyway, since for some reason they recently started selling their entire houses in Re-Tail.

Nobody in my town is entirely original, Phoebe is the only one closest to having 80% of her stuff.
I'm in the process of reverting almost everything in everyone's houses though since I have everything cataloged except for Kyle's Pleather Vest(GracieGrace), Flower Bouquet(Weeding Day), and Wolfgang's Gracie Shirt.

There really should be an "originals" thread with the items listed with notations on unorderables + pics for furniture placement, I'd think that cyclers would be able to help with that thread the most if it was created.
As well as tips on reverting furniture back and retaining most of them.
I'd do it but I'm stuck using my 3DS atm.
I have no clue what Whitney and Wolfgang's original setups were like, I should have taken a pic of Wolfgang's cause I had him as a camper..

I don't even bother trying to keep villager houses original. Although if I had a villager like Merengue then I probably would since she has such a cute food house and chef uniform, but one reason I don't have her is because she's high maintenance for this reason to me. x3 Other than that, I wouldn't really want to try and keep any of my villager houses original since I find it boring ~ it's fun designing your villager's cute houses how you want it (almost anyway... You can at least decide on what furniture they have and if they get rid of it then hey, it's not the end of the world).

Mine are a mix of both. Marshal is original and so is Francine. Everyone else is all whack. I personally do not care if they have trash or their original house. I just like having the villager. I don't care if I buy an unoriginal villager either. I'm not picky lol.

Theres no point in trying. As long as their house keeps the theme, im good.

Yuka is the only one whos house is bad. 4 shirts, modern bed, bug, table in awkward place and a regal table.

I don't try to keep them original, but I do try to keep their houses decent looking. For that reason, I only carry furniture with me that I know would look good in their houses.

haha oh gosh I just took in Benjamin yesterday. I expected his house to be a gutted mess because he has the full sloppy set but it`s only missing bed, sink, and bookshelf. oeaeoeaoeae

I suppose a different bed and maybe a wide sink wouldn`t hurt! Any recommendations for the bed heh

I try really hard to keep Merengue's house original since I plan to sell her. She makes it a bit difficult sometimes by putting random shirts down or always trying to sell her stuff in Re-Tail. T_T Otherwise I am not too bothered about keeping my other villagers original, I usually just give them something that matches their 'theme' or would look nice in their house.

I give them furniture that belongs to the set they already have and items that I think would look good in their place. I don't give them fish, bugs, shirts or items I don't think will look good in their rooms.
I like to give them a bed if they don't have one, because I feel bad when they get sick and don't have a place to sleep!
If they invite me over I'll buy mismatched items, and also wait till they ask me to replace ugly stuff.
In other words, their houses are not original but they're not hot messes either!

Frita is 90% original! she's only sold one piece of her food furniture collection. I have a hard time getting villagers to place mailed furniture in their rooms, so I've kinda given up on making them look a certain way. I do try for the nicest possible look, by giving them small fish and bugs, especially ones in unique cages (goldfish and crickets,) and refurbished furniture.
