Do You Time Travel?

Yes, but it’s very lightly?
I generally stay on the same day it is, but might forward or backward a couple hours. I have a part time job and college classes. Sometimes the only time I can play is at night and it gets frustrating only seeing your island in a dark blanket. I also tend to be busy on holidays; for thanksgiving I played the event a couple days prior to the actual holiday, that way I can still participate and get items.

In the past I’ve noticed time traveling too much numbs parts of the game, which I don’t enjoy. You start to feel less receptive to the little details and joys of the game

I don't anymore but did when I was younger in New Leaf. Mainly to go to the island late at night to catch sharks and beetles, but I think there were probably a few times I got impatient and just wanted a PWP or something to be built.

To me, it breaks the immersion and slow pace of animal crossing so doubt I ever will again.

I used to, especially when I was still working on landscaping my town. But now I don't. I love not time traveling and slowing down a little bit, but every once in a while I get the urge to just go forward a day for a little bit (and then go back).

While I was playing the game regularly, I never would since I wanted to keep my game in-sync with real time. While it did mean it took a lot longer to get some achievements, items, or bugs/fish/sea creatures, I definitely would've burned out of the game a lot quicker and not played it as much as I did if I had ended up time traveling!

That said, if I have to get several items for any friends, I don't mind time traveling just to speed up that process so they don't have to wait on me for days on end, but that's basically the only exception.
