I try not to, but I'm TTing in my new town currently because I'm trying to get the last of my villagers moved over, but after that, I won't be TTing anymore.

So my vote went for "Kind of."

I do it to get my villagers I want and in the appropriate places... But when I do get them together I like to play purely.... Regardless I voted yes lol

Yes I do everyday. And I keep a log of who has asked to move, when there will be a moving ping(its usually every 5 days) my log is very detailed and i have kept all the villagers in my town of Caprica for over a year now. For my town Infinity for as long as I have gotten my last dreamy so for about 5 months now and for my last town which is my son's town I plan on doing the same. It is not that hard to predict for my towns when I will get a moving ping as I am very detailed about it. I ALWAYS go around checking at least 4-5 times looking for pings talking to everyone. Saving and Quitting, repeating that process several times before I move on to the next day. And then by day five I will get that moving ping and they practically come up to ME and it happens. I hardly ever have to search them out. Once in awhile I do it is random. I never know who is going to move I just know when I will get a ping. I have never had a problem with time travel. It is a time saver for me, let's me get things done faster, get pwp's build got my dream town finished, there are way more benefits to time traveling then there are risk(except for rotten turnips if you are going backwards). I Have never seen what the issues were, I bought the game who is anyone else to tell me how to play a game I bought and paid for?

Yeah, I do. I work full time and I can't play the game every day so when I do, I play several "days" at once.

Depends on the town I'm playing in as I have 3. Definite yes in my cycle, yes at the moment in my new show town (mostly to bypass the boring stuff like shops opening and starting villagers), and no in my original town.

I recently time traveled a lot to finish getting all my dreamies, pwps, and landscaping done. I dont plan to time travel anymore after I get my last 2 pwp: hot spring & wind turbine! I had a town on a ecopy on my bfs ds but had to get my own copy, a physical copy and start anew because hes moved back home so I wont be able to play on his ds anymore T. T

I'm permanently 2 hours behind because I tend to play at night and kept missing the Nook hours. T_T

Occasionally. Only to get rid of villagers who have already said they are moving and then I time travel back.

I time travel all the time. I don't play this game enough to take it day to day, and even if I did, it would take too long to fill in the museum and get all of the expansions that way. Another reason I time travel is that I'm trying to complete a dreamie bird town and need to time travel to force out villagers I don't want.

Up to yesterday, I had never done so and I really never thought I would. It has nothing to do with me thinking it's wrong or not fun, I just didn't think it was for me and since it's my first town I wanted to do things the old fashioned way, and just take my time. Plus I'm a worry-wart and fear any of the 'TT accidents' I hear so much about. But I'm going on vacay soon and also was going to have a villager in boxes the day I was meant to leave. So I TT'd her into boxes sooner and got a 'dreamie' to move-in. I'm still positive TTing is not for me and it's unlikely I will do it again unless I have another "emergency" like I did.

Right now yes a lot, but when I have a town completed as far as who I want in it I go day to day, and I always go back to last day played I never have skipped one entirely even if was cycling out I go back to early morning before so they are out on the right day.

I time travel occasionally, so like maybe 2-3-7 days at a time randomly if i'm getting bored of current events. My season is Winter and Toy Day was today and it's 2017. So although that seems like a definite yes that was years ago. Nowadays I have appreciation for the little moments in my town. I have a cycle town but let's face it, who doesn't these days? But as far as my normal town goes it depends on what i'm feeling.

I tend to time travel backwards to keep villagers in boxes or to try and plot reset but other than that, I like to keep it on the actual day.

I only TTed to unlock all the shops when I first started AC.

Yes I do. But its for the TT to catch up method. Since i'm so far behind in the game as a result of utter boredom, 1 year and 2 weeks, and animal moving patterns are so freaking slow; I use the method on the very rare occasions I bother cranking up the game. At the rate i'm going, i'll never catch up. I play about 4 or 5 game days over the course of 2 real world days about every 3 or 4 real world months.

I don't think I've replied to this thread yet so...Yes I do! I like breeding hybrids for one, so time traveling definitely helps with that. I also would time travel to get public works projects completed faster. I never started time traveling until after over a year of playing it on normal time though. It was really nice playing it day to day before, but once you've experienced all of the holidays, I find it a bit repetitive and constraining to play day to day. Now I just time travel between the days of cherry blossom season so I can complete my town and update my dream address :)

Yes, but not always. I'm on another no TTing streak, and have been playing normally for a few weeks now :3 I do, however, like to TT when I'm drastically changing the layout of my town because it's easier to get everything done in one day, rather than wait however many days it'll take for me to build new pwps (I'm forgetful and might not remember exactly what I was going for if I want too long).

Part of the reason I'm not TTing now is because I want to see if my town tree will fully mature if I play normally. It's been at the second to last growth stage for so long now, and I've played well over 500 days and 500 hours (I'm probably closer to 2000 hours actually lol)
