I don't think I'd play this game if I couldn't TT. I actually remember disliking NL at first because I could never get to Tom Nook in time to pay off my debt, so no progress was ever made, until I found out Time Travelling was a thing and then I grew to adore the game, but lately I've relaxed on TT because I mostly achieved what I wanted to so far.

I strictly don't time travel. I used to on my old town but it really ruined the game for me, there was no sense of achievement in anything (for me, anyway). I'm not against time travelling and I'm definitely not one of those people who think they're better than people who time travel. It's just that for me, it ruins the game and makes me greedy. I also hate having the dates on the town tree messed up.

I've been time traveling in order to get my villagers etc but two days ago I got my game to normal time and have stopped time traveling

Hopefully that will lessen my acnl addiction >_>

Main town only change the clock if I'm late playing.
My other towns I've changed my clock back/forth for furniture delivery for the catalog badge.
Think one day I went back and forth for the 5pm mail 7 times. The villagers called the mayor a time traveler.
Once my guest town side players get their last bug I'll be jumping ahead to spring. Plan on playing Spring to Summer and repeat.

Yes, it gets fairly boring in my opinion if you don't xD I used to try and go with the experience of it being as long as a real day and couldn't stand it lol.

i try not to time travel by more than a month in case a villager moves out during that time or something, but yeah i time travel a lot in general. im a pretty impatient person, so the game would be boring to me if i had to wait a day for updates on everything tbh

I chose knd of, because I tt when I need to get a villager out so I can adopt one that I really like. Then I change the time back again.

Yes, I usually TT so that my game is always within 9am - 7 PM whenever I play it. Try to keep the date as current as possible though.

Usually only a couple of hours but the date is one day behind because it makes trades easier cause I live in Australia and most people I play online with are in America

I kind of time travel. Recently I only time travel a few hours back for the daytime so my boyfriend and I can play together. In general, I only ever time travel if I forgot to do a task for a villager, missed an event, and very rarely, if I have someone that wants my villager and I time travel forward for them to be in boxes.

I do whenever there's a ton to get done and i want to grind bells for PWPs and the like. What i'll do is load, set the time, do the daily chores, island, save, load, set the time, sell island stuff, pay off whatever needed it.....and so on. Then i save, load, set time, do chores, save until i am back to the present date and time. Of course, this usually just ends up happening on days where there's lots of travelling to do or lots of nothing at all to do, lol.

With this town I have never timetravelled and I don't plan on doing it either. Nothing wrong with it, I'm just challenging myself :)

I didn't use to TT, but now that I don't play very often anymore, I have to TT in order to not lose villagers.
