do you time travel?

I've only TT:d a few times and only because some villagers refused to plot in the right spots so I had to keep the game at that same date for a few days. But, yeah, other than that I never TT. I used to do it on the first AC game though. TT:ing always made me lose interest in the game.

Main game I've only went one day ahead and left it that way. It works out for Holiday events. Play with the villagers and than enjoy it with your family. I do have the clock set 4 hours behind so I can play events. For events like New Years Eve I've had to changed the clock forward. I'd be up till 4 am.

In my other town I did TT a lot because it was a harvest town. It's now a real/harvest town and TT has mostly stopped. If retail has a good price on turnips or premium fruit I'll keep the date for the next day.

In my harvest towns I TT all the time. Play June thru August and than repeat it over again. All players are in tents and don't buy much from the stores. No mannequins wanted.

I played the events early in my other town when it was a TT town. The mayor never spoke to the villagers unless it was a holiday.
So it wasn't a lot of fun. When I played in my real town the event was much better. Think my favorite one is New Years Eve.

So just how many copies of Animal Crossing do you own exactly?

I used to TT in my main town, but that was mostly so that I could move in and out villagers. I did other things on the side, PWP gathering/placements and such. But now that I have the 10 villagers I want I'm done TTing. Since getting my last dreamie I haven't TTed or planned to.

I try my very best not to TT as I love just playing it every day for a specific amount of time, but there are times such as when I need to get a villager out of my town so I'm able to invite one of my dreamies if I'm able to get them from someone.

That's really the only time I'll TT now. I used to do it to get things like PWPs finished faster, but I feel like they're something you should wait to get finished, not just rush them.

As a super fan of 'Back to the Future', I know all too well the possible dangers of time travel and the problems that can occur from it!

But really, no, I don't do it. I think it takes away from the 'feel' of it. I mean, it runs of a clock and certain things happen 'tomorrow' for a reason and to me, time traveling essentially takes all point away from the game.
I prefer to just wait and think "I can't wait till tomorrow when that new item I ordered arrives!" rather than just putting the clock forwards and having it in 5 minutes.

I play the game normally but I only time travel to get a PWP to be built, and for a villager to move out. Other than that I leave the clock alone. I dont feel the need to time travel days at a time.

hEy this is off topic but click "marshal" in my sig! i'm currently auctioning him off and he's your last dreamie so n_n

I usually play the game one day at a time. I'm just in no rush.

The only time when I do time travel (and that's rare) is when I'm trying to make villagers move. Otherwise I leave the time and date alone. ^-^

i always play one day at a time! im always tempted to time travel but i get nervous b/c i dont want anyone to move out heh...

I have 4 charecters so I play each one like its my only one I TT after im done playing with all 4 but most of the time I dont TT but because I love to do trades I TT alot but I dont mind but its nice not TTing

Not so much. Vowed that I won't time travel unless I need to. But sometimes I'm impatient and have time traveled a few days to grow hybrids or to buy turnips cause I forgot to... Now I'm tempted to time travel a few days ahead for my alt to unlock the QR reader but I'm trying to stop myself from doing it. Struggle~

Yeah I time travel a lot, I'd be bored to death and never get anything around town done if i didn't XD

I do TT, usually a day or so because I simply do not have time to play every day and for long. Sometimes, tho, I have more time and I can play. I then usually have to end up doing two days in one to try and keep up with the RL calendar. Maybe the day will come when I have more time, but with family in hospice and the caretaking I have to do, I doubt it.

TT does not ruin anything for me. I need to TT to just keep up and have a little fun between all the difficulties of RL. If I didn't TT at all I'd still be in 2013, I'd be absolutely nowhere and get nothing accomplished.

It all depends upon your life. I'm at the awkward age where losing family members is more a rule than an exception, and between my own life and home, taking care of others is simply how life is turning out. The game recognizes this or TT would not be possible. I think the creators know that not everyone can do everything in real time. It just is not feasible for everyone, and it certainly is not for me. Maybe someday, tho. :)

Yes. I dont time travel that much, but enough to play the "day" at night. Otherwise it would be perpetually night and all the shops would be closed.

I never time traveled before, and especially not for getting items. I don't know if it qualifies as true time traveling, but on days where I'm working late and get home well after all of the shops close and stuff, I'll usually time travel within the same day to a few hours earlier so I can get stuff done, and then set it back to the normal time after.
