Do you think we'll be playing ACNL for 5 years before the next AC comes out?

This is how long i think ACCF (wii) was out before ACNL came, do you think we'll be waiting that long for the next one too?
For some reason, ACCF and ACWW (ds), it felt normal to have them out for that long, but with new leaf, it's like we've played it intensly these 2 years, that we're ready for the next AC already

is time going faster or something?
I don't think 2 years is enough to build serious nostalgia with the game, 5 is good, though in that last year i was desperate for ACNL to come out!
At the same time, i want to start another era of AC, even though my current town isn't even completed yet, i still haven't designed it how i want, and gotten all emotions
but, i've completed my house and encyclopedias for the first time ever in AC history!

I do believe it will take four years or so. Which makes me think it will be either for the new 3DS or a new home console!
Well, I don't know about everyone else but it seemed like people played in cycles. We would play WW/CF for a long time then stop for a while, then come back, etc etc

I think we feel that way mostly because there was such a gap between NL and WW/CF features-wise, and seeing the potential it has we are all very excited to see what we get next (remember the video that showed you can swim? tumblr exploded is2g i saw gifs about it months and months after it happened)

I doubt it will be anytime soon as there is an animal crossing for wii u coming

I hope so! Five years doesn't seem that long for an Animal Crossing game.
