do you think this would be a good shop idea?

i don't plan to do it to make a huge profit or anything, but i've always wanted to create a music/instrument shop thread on retail. i'm waiting to finish landscaping my town to build the house that will hold it. i nearly have every instrument now and i would customize it however they pleased. i would also sell stereos + KK albums, and music-related furniture like metronomes and piano paper!

would this be worth my time? do you think that charging 5-15 TBT or up to 50k is reasonable?

I'd like a store like that :3 It would be nice to not have to go see KK Slider every time I want a song I can't find in the emporium. I personally wouldn't buy much else (maybe a lily record player or another nice looking music player).

That's true! I would have to catalogue all KK slider songs beforehand so it'd take a while. And I completely forgot about the lily record player, thanks for bringing it up! I'll be sure to grab a few of those before I start it too.

Yes, I would do that. It'd be original price + a small fee, or a slightly larger fee if I had customized it in any sort of way. The unorderables would of course be more expensive, though.

A suggestion from myself: maybe you could offer a bundle of a song and a record player that matches the theme paired together with a discount? You'd sell more stuff, but the consumers would get a discount? Just thought of it, thought i might aswell put it out there

To give some extra input: I would like it, especially with the customizations. I suggest addng some pictures of the customized instruments, to show people the possibilities! A lot of people probably don't know the different customizations and it would shows them a complete different side of the instruments.

I've been playing since release, so I really have little to nothing left on my list of items to obtain, however I would gladly support this shop. Especially since you seem to be planning an actual in-game shop. I love that idea even more than just a shop thread. I'd probably buy some things from you though, and I expect that the K.K. slider songs will be your best sellers, besides special music players like the Lily record player. It's kinda hard to obtain, especially multiples, without cheating. I love mine to bits. It is SO FREAKING CUTE.

Instruments would be great too, could also incoeporate the music wall and floor too and maybe make some musical clam shells? I would absolutely love that as I really struggle finding clam shells so I would be a definite customer!

ah that's what i was thinking but i'd forgotten it, thanks!! i think it'd be a good way to potentially draw in more costumers 'cause the instruments they might not necessarily buy for their home with its original finish might look way better to them in a custom one.

ahhh it is adorable!!! i love it too, i have one or two but i'll be buying more in the retail section to get a good quantity. and yes i thought that having an in-game shop would be a cute idea! it'd have most/all of the instruments in it so if players didn't know what they wanted they could come over and see them for themselves. plus it'd be good to have an extra character to hold all the stuff, lol.

ahh yes thank you, i forgot about those!! i'll make sure to include them in. i think that it would be a good idea! i'll definitely start putting it together as soon as i get my town a little more landscaped!
