do you think common flowers are bad?

They're not bad. Some of them can actually be used in a nice combo along with other hybrids but they are not that appealing at all. The only decent normal flower i can think off is the white rose.

I don't think common flowers are bad. I personally don't like the red flowers but I love the yellow flowers a lot and I know lots of people who use the white flowers all over their town and mix and match them.

I like mixing the common with my hybrids. I don't think the hybrids are better, it's just nice to have a bigger selection. My favorite common flowers are yellow roses. They look so pretty with the other colored roses.

I dont think they are bad at all. Before, when i wasnt really into landscapping and paths and such, i didnt really want them, i thought it was more important to have all hybrids, but now since im trying to get everything in order and make it look good (in my eyes at least) i find im going to the island quite a bit to get normal flowers because it gets boring using nothing but hybrids. Some normal flowers fit really well with hybrids and can make things look nice. I know a lot of people thwt use nothing but hybrids, but when im in their town, it does get quite boring not seeing a variety.

I was about to say I agree with this completely, and that I would never scoff at someone's flowers. And then I read supercataleena's post, and I'm trying really hard.... (grin). I have a really hard time appreciating dandelions!

I don't think they're bad and tbh it's none of my business who chooses to use which flower and what not since it's not my town, and towns can look rather lovely using ordinary flowers in my opinion. That's the beauty of the game, everybody may not have the same opinion on hybrids and ordinary flowers, but because there are so many ways you can transform your town people often overlook this and realise just how beautiful a town is hybrids or not. Personally I use non-hybrid since i'm going for a theme after the colour white so i'm using a lot of white ordinary flowers. Not sure if carnations count though towards that haha.

I don't think they're bad necessarily, I don't like how they grow all over my town randomly though. But I wouldn't laugh about anybody who had them in their towns, we all like different things after all. I have red and white roses in my town, I find they go nicely with the blue roses. I'm quite picky about flowers anyway, I don't actually like all hybrids flowers

no, i think they're nice! it can get annoying when they grow where you don't want and you need to dig them up, but i think mixed in with hybrids they can be really pretty!

Personally, I don't think we have enough flower varieties even with the hybrids. I don't use all common flowers but the ones I do use help break up the monotony of using the same flowers over and over.

I prefer the hybrid flowers. I like blue and purple the most so I try to make more hybrids. Though the purple and white violets look cool on the beach and they are common flowers.

Personally I don't like the yellow flowers (none of them), but I think the white and red are super pretty!

It's more about the combination of flowers and what looks good together than just having the rarest flowers everywhere. That being said, I rarely scoff at towns for any reason. I like seeing all the different things people come up with

I don't think they're bad! Yellow is definitely my least favorite color for flowers, but it's not as if they're horrible! I still use them. Common flowers are easier to obtain, and I see nothing wrong with that.
