Do you think an update will add a visitor that makes diving creature models?

I think they would’ve allowed CJ to make the models once the update was released, but they could announce an update for it in another wave, but it wouldn’t make any sense since it would fit better if it was released with the July update cuz it would’ve gone well with the mermaid set and diving so I don’t really know. I would love to have an isopod model but those little creatures are so darn hard to catch that I only managed to catch one! TT_TT

It would've made the most sense like some other posters have said to add Wendell to do this, not sure why he wasn't added for this role in the Summer Update - maybe they've got something else planned for him? Maybe they'll add him later? Not sure, but it would be good if we could get models for the Diving creatures soon.

I voted yes, but I don't think a new NPC would do it.
They're sea creatures.
CJ will take care of it eventually, I think.

I hope so! I kept some big blue shells (LOL forgot what it’s called - the one that moves crazy fast anyway) and vampire squid (again, not really sure of the name) just in case. I don’t mind if it’s not a new character who’ll make sea creature models - either CJ or Flick will do, I just want models of them made.

It makes more sense to add that as an option for when CJ comes in the future, and just have him handle all ocean creatures/fish! I'd love some models of sea creatures!

tbh i think wendells appearance is going to have something to do with extra custom design slots.

No I hope they add it to CJ or something. I just rather they save new content for something else. I would be disappointed if the next update added a new model npc, instead of different content.

I feel like they will, since the other creatures have the option to be made into figures. I don't think it's high on the Nintendo Priority List though, so we probably shouldn't expect anything soon.

That's a good idea actually. I still haven't used all my custom design slots, but I've seen people run out.

I picked Don't Know, not to be noncommittal, but because I legitimately don't know how they'll handle it. Like a few others, I saved up some creatures to try and make a model of them (from CJ) only to discover that he wouldn't. An extra NPC would be very cluttered, but it'd be kind of a letdown to not get models of these like we do the other creatures.

I really hope so, the fish and insect models are one of my favourite new features since they add so much more character than just fish and bugs in cages (although I do wish some were intractable) but I think it would be nice to have some sea creature ones

I would love for a new character to come along to make sea creature models because like someone else said I'd love it if there was a marine biologist type of animal who could do what Flick and CJ do, plus I'm not so stoked on adding to Flick and CJs workload, it just feels bad man
