I always buy anything that my villager try and sell, I have most of the items I want so it isn’t usually something I actually need but then I can just sell it or trash it. I have enough bells anyway and as others have pointed out it’s the better request from villagers as it doesn’t lead to them destroying their homes or wardrobes and keeps them happy.
I do because I barely get any kind of non-generic dialogue so everytime something different happens, I just do it. I don't mind, I have enough bell to allow myself to purchase their stuff.
Part of my brain always tells me I already have enough junk in my inventory and need to start saying no.
But then my people pleasing other half wacks it with a bat :/
I said no once because they where asking a lot and I barely had any bells at the time and felt so guilty when they looked sad. I know I was getting guilt-ed by a virtual animal in a video game but it didn't make it any better. So, since then I've always said yes even if it's something I don't want or expensive.
Not all the time. Items are usually bad in my opinion and I don't really need them. Enough of all these ugly and sport clothing items! I'm not as athletic as you think guys.
So it's really depend of the mood of the day and if I like the villager and want to see him/her happy!
If it sounds like it was something they had in their house that was junking it up and they're getting rid of it now (if I buy it) I might consider. Same with ugly clothes. But most times they can just stick it.
I buy anything my villagers want to sell me, and I say yes to all trades and deliveries and errands. Sometimes I do forget/ give up on the fish and bug catching though.
I love doing it. And I guess I just don’t care about messing up their houses enough to stop. they are so excited and I just love saying yes to them. I also feel like they seem a bit more like my villagers once their houses have some unique touches.
I do now drop and trash cans I happen to be holding when a villagers starts calling for me or thought bubbling. They love taking my trash receptacles.
i never usually buy because it's either too expensive if we have low friendship or i don't want the item, but this thread is slowly starting to change my mind! maybe i'll start buying more often to see what dialogue i get too.
I don't care how much it costs if they sell it, i'll buy it. How can you say no to their adorable faces? If Bones wants me to buy his used toilet, imma do it because i love him and want him to have all the bells he wants and needs for his snacks.
