Do you still get streetpasses?

I used to get Street passes all the time. I'd say it slowed down quite a bit about 2 years ago. I really miss the Spot pass though. It was at my local Starbucks (yay) and McDonalds (eh). It was fun collecting the JP exclusive items.

years old, I got many Streetpasses. But now I meet no one via Streetpass, and if I met one then it's
someone who seems to either not playing New Leaf or didn't actived Streetpass in the game. That's
why I already gave up very early to ever get the silver or gold Streetpass badge in New Leaf, as it's
already impossible for me to even get the bronze one, because of the fact that I don't meet someone
with active AC Streetpass (anymore).

Before the ACNL update I was getting 2 streetpasses from the same person while in my house. At the time I was streetpass my other 3DS and got more than 2 tags. Found him in my showcase when I opened ACNL. The person stopped tagging me after the update or they moved away.
I stopped taking all my 3DS out because I was just tagging myself. I'm tagging my 3DS once a day now.

This makes me so sad ;~; but hey, if people on this forum are still taking their 3DS out places we have a chance of streetpassing each other lol
I took my 3DS to school once to entertain myself on the bus home, before getting home, my sister and I took a quick stop at the shopping center and I got two streetpasses! So, yes, but only when I take my 3DS out to places.

No any streetpass in traditional way anymore. But in my country (Japan) there's kind of new another way to streetpass. It's like Spotpass. Sooo, whey you visit a place that has 7-Eleven Spotpass, it sucks up your HHA data. It tosses the data to next person who visit there. With this method, people don't need to be at the same place at the same time to streetpass. Though, still the streetpass I get has been getting less and less. Now it's like a few more datas a week. Still, not zero yes.
I have only gotten 1 streetpass ever. It is sad that nobody uses their 3DSs anymore.

It's mostly because my area of the city is kinda meh, and I can't really get out much. That, and I'm incredibly paranoid/anxious of bringing expensive belongings with me outdoors. Also, no one really had Nintendo products. I'd see people using a 3DS once in a blue moon. It makes buying Nintendo products easy, though.
Except the Wii. THAT was a pain to find for some reason. But that's going way off topic. e-e

i visit big cities often and go to a heavily populated school out of state
i bring my 3DS everywhere and ive only gotten 1 streetpass
i dont know, i see 1 or 2 people a year playing their 3DS in public

The streetpass feature and DLC gifts make me really, really sad that I waited until 2018 to get a 3DS! I'm really feeling the pressure to finish my New Leaf bucketlist before the switch version is out and nobody is playing anymore. Hopefully I'll have a switch by then!

I only get streetpasses if I go to an anime convention. Otherwise no one seems to bring their ds places. I stopped carrying mine too since it doesn't do anything.

I do... only because I’ve got two systems (even if the 2DS is so battery dead it only reliably functions when plugged in) and two games. Only ever got one in public passing and that was like... 3 years ago.
