Do you share a name with a villager?

A lot of people will share a name with a villager in real life, mine’s Olive, I think it’s cute that her catchphrase is ‘sweet pea’ and that’s when I call my cats/loved ones. Also that she’s a normal villager, if I was a villager I’d be a normal, I love reading and gardening and try to be kind to others, I don’t always have the most confidence, normal would fit me. I’ve never met the villager Olive though, so that would be interesting, and when people take about her ‘oh I love Olive so much’ it makes me smile.

although i made my name opal and there's a villager with that name :3
i don't really like snooty villagers too much so some of them bother me and opal is one of them but i forgot she existed when i made that my name

My in game name is always different too, in NL it was Kitty and in New Horizons it’s Tilly, just something cuter. I know there’s a villager named Kitty, I don’t think there’s a Tilly but I might be wrong, I wouldn’t want to share an in game name with a villager on my island though!

My mom watched the movie for the first time while she was pregnant with me and just fell in love with the name Nala and named me after her . Chrissy in Japan/not the US where she’s Christine (and the Japanese pronunciation of Christine, Kurisuchīnu). I do NOT go by Chrissy (I go by Christine, Stine, or Stiney, and, very rarely, Chris) as I dislike the nickname. I also dislike Chrissy the villager, way way way too cutesy for me.

I went to school with a girl named Nala! It’s a very pretty name.

Thank you so much! I started loving it back after middle school(I was born and raised in Italy where I was made fun of my name for quiete a long time). It is always so nice when people say they like it

I love the name Olive, it sounds so sweet and I can only imagine people named Olive being really kind and friendly. A bully named Olive just sounds wrong to me.
