Do you redecorate your house from time to time? Or is it always the same?

There's nothing I could do to them to make them look unique.
There just aren't enough items.

I keep mine pretty much the same tbh and change what my island looks like more. I first focused on my house and now I need to work on my island overall because there are so many empty areas :(

I don't really have a set theme for my house, but I've for sure redecorated my house based on the items/DIY furniture I get overtime and trying to see what combos fit. But now that I've finally found what's worked, I don't think I'll be changing my setup unless new items are introduced.

In New Leaf I kept my house interior the same for almost all of the years I played, this time around I'd like to change it regularly but I'm far more focused on exterior design and decorating my island that I've neglected my interior and it its so bare and barren D:
In New Leaf I remember hiring someone to do all my interior design for me, but cant seem to find the same sort of service for this game D:

I redecorate but mostly because I'm dissatisfied with how it looks. When I finish redecorating the end result is that I feel less dissatisfied, but will probably continue to tweak the design indefinitely until there's nothing to improve.

If I get good items I may swap around. My main room I try to keep to the season in small ways. The rest of the island I shift around for season though, flowers and items so everything is themed for holidays and whatnot. :)

My living room/kitchen and bed room has stayed the same since I first finished decorating it a few months ago, although it's due for a theme change for some of the other rooms. I changed my exterior to a red/black roof and sidings and moved from a chic garden hilltop location to a beach side junkyard 😂 My living room has always had a deep red and black theme so I don't feel the need to change it, but some of the other rooms don't match the overall theme anymore, mostly my royal golden bathroom haha. I will change it out eventually but decorating interiors in this game is a chore to me because I hate the 5-item order limit. Recently I was inspired by the turkey day items so I finally redid my alt's house from a WIP cafe to an actual home.

In my rep’s house, I only have one room decorated. I did have three rooms but I moved two of them to one of my alt’s houses since it made more sense to be in his house (Luffy) since the house is part of my Thousand Sunny ship design. I have three alts now and aside from Luffy’s, their houses are empty since I just can’t come up with anything new, unique with the current selection of furniture. Until recently, I’ve been trying to go to Harv’s studio every day to try to come up with more ideas, but I’m stumped.

Once we get more furniture and I come up with ideas, the rooms will be up all year round or until I come up with a better ifea to replace the rooms.

I sometimes redecorate, especially after items are released for an event. There's such a small furniture selection that sometimes I'll add stuff to multiple rooms in my home after just one event or holiday... And sometimes I'll switch up a whole room for no reason if I'm bored. If I'm worried I'll like it less, that's no problem. That's what the screenshot button is for. I can just change it back if I want to.

in all honesty i haven't payed much attention to the home feature- but now that it's becoming winter and all snowy in game, i think i'm gonna finally do my home justice and try to decorate the rooms!!

i used to just throw items that looked cute in, barely paying attention to rooms other than my main room, but now i really wanna start working on other rooms!

I will probably redocorate my house for christmas but I won't do anything massive. Besides my interior is still a work in progress. A lot of the rooms aren't finished so they will have to get changed many times before I'm happy with them.

I will definitely be changing the basement, because I want to make a perfect tea room there. I'm not sure yet, if I want to do a japanese or an english inspired tea room.

a little bit of both, honestly. despite enjoying interior design, i’ve always had a hard time coming up with ideas and so, once i find a design and layout that i’m happy with, i’m very reluctant to change it unless i get bored of it or come up with a new idea and so, things pretty much stay the same unless i get bored or inspiration strikes :’^)

I haven't actually taken the time to decorate my house at all. Interior design doesn't interest me much.

Once I find a design I'm satisfied with, I will keep it. This may change over time when more items are introduced into the game.

I went through eveeeery single item on villagerdb to find all the items in the game I wanted, and I traded for all of them.
For this reason my rooms are pretty much perfect as far as I’m concerned. My nautical main room and kitchen are favs, and I adore my cherry blossom room as well

My autumn room is also becoming a favourite the longer I look at it, and when I tried adding some harvest furniture I actually preferred how it was before! So I put the harvest stuff outside. I really like my gold/art/fancy study room too

Only room I might change is the upstairs, it’s the most bland out of all of my rooms. It’s a bedroom ensuite but, it’s mostly just the complete mermaid set. I LIKE having the complete mermaid set but I’m fond of having rooms that looks more interesting than that? Idk?

It's been pretty much the same for me as well. I just changed my bedroom, basement, and 2nd floor a little bit recently

I change it to match the themes going on usually even though I don't plan it out. My kitchen was an american diner but I've changed it now to put in the Thanksgiving furniture which wouldn't have matched. I change my living room more often than not but at the moment it's an autumn theme as I managed to get all the autumn diys ( not the mushroom though, didnt find any of them at all😔)

I can’t decorate to save my life so my house is barely decorated. xD It’s been that way for the last two months. But once I get more furniture items I’m hoping to finally decorate!
