personally, I prefer texts just because I have really bad anxiety....

buuuuuuut phone calls seem more professional and respectful and you can hear the person's tone etc. instead of having to guess one...

I'm a little in between but I would have to stick with texts in my case.

The only people I talk to on the phone are my family. No one else gets that privilege, lmao. Acquaintances, work-related people, hobby-related people, and sports-related people can all text with me.

I have really bad anxiety when talking on the phone with acquaintances or when I have to make an appointment.
However I do prefer calls when it comes to family/close friends/my boyfriend.

I can actually think out what I’m saying when I’m typing. When I call, I feel like I can’t find the words most of the time.
When I’m talking to colleagues, I always text for that reason. Family get to call me to be honest.

Texts. I have horrible anxiety & phone calls are horrible for me. The only person I call is my mother & my boyfriend. Nobody else. I don't even call to schedule appointments, I seriously drive to wherever I need to make an appointment and do it in person & claim that I was just "in the area and decided to pop in." Texting is much easier for me.

Texting, unless it's an involved story that wouldn't really work through text. I don't really like talking on the phone, I always practice what I'm going to say a couple times before I call. I get nervous but once I'm on the phone I'm ok. Whenever I have to do public speaking I kind of detach myself and go on autopilot, so I'm not really aware of what's going on or what I'm saying haha.
I also have a hard time saying no, and I'm not a good liar, so when my work calls sometimes I just ignore it...

I like texts more frequently because they're casual and I don't feel pressured to answer right away (unless it's urgent), but I like phone calls/ FaceTime/ Skype every now and then for a more personable chat, but yeah, overall I'd say I prefer texts

it depends on the situation, but in general, i've always preferred texting. I get anxiety over the phone that texting doesn't give to me, the only people i will call is my family or boyfriend.

It depends moreso on what the topic is. If it's something quick and simple, then I'll text. If it's something more important or something more complex that'll be easier to explain by talking, then I'll call. It could also just depend on what my mood is.
I text more, but that's mostly because that's just the standard now. Phone calls are outdated, although I still probably make more calls than most people do now.

Same here. Well, I guess and work related stuff unless I can keep it strictly e-mails or text.
I have a few friends that I regularly Skype with though but other than that I’m only comfortable taking to my family on the phone. Another silly reason is that I’m on a dumb phone plan so I try to avoid extra charges anyways.

Texting feels easier for sure. It gives me more time to think what I want to say, while with phone calls you just have to figure everything out right away. Just yesterday I had to call the hairdresser and I managed to stutter and forget what talking is.

When it comes to making appointments or inquiries I avoid calling if at all possible and either text, make them online or show up in person to make them (or sometimes have other people call for me). : D My most recent appointment to the hairdresser was done by my mom.
