Do you plan to time travel?

I'm going to try my best to refrain from time travelling. When New Leaf came out I accidentally saw holidays I didn't mean to and it ruined some of the fun.

Probably. There will be times when I start playing for the day and it is too late to participate in events, so I will time travel to negate that.

I don't think time travelling will even be possible on the switch? But I wouldn't really do it tbh

Nope, but I hope that some people do. How else will we know what happens during the events, and what events there are?

No. I understand why people do, and for some that's they're preferred way of playing, but I'm not a fan. I've TTed in the past and I find playing real-time is much more rewarding and you get bored much slower.

Only if rl gets too busy and if i miss something important like tourneys/holidays or even someones birthday. other than that, ill be playing it like normal.

Not everyone has all the time in the world to spare.

Or all the time in the world in general.

Nuh-uh! Because time-travelling is not possible in the real world and if you try to do it in Animal Crossing, negative effects like dead flowers and weeds will appear.

I want to TT as little as possible this time around. Didn't do it often in NL either, but every time I did it it felt way too much like cheating.

I really hope to not time travel this time around.
Maybe i'll switch up the hours in a day if there is something special and I'm at work (because my work hours are really flexible). Or if I miss an event then maybe put the game a day back. But I hope I can enjoy this game day by day and not rush everything..

i dont plan on time travelling at all myself, ive done it in the past and it always ruins the game for me, makes it less fun, makes it more tempting to just skip everything, skip having to work for anything ect... and i dont want to ruin the game for myself

O_o

Neither are the following.

Talking Frogs.
Sharks that fit into your pocket.
Ten year old political figures.
Houses that manifest overnight.

Turtles that are government officials.

Need I go on? :)

The entire game is fantasy.
It's a wonderful escape, and time travel IS a part of Animal Crossing.

I even made a topic about it a year ago, with picture proof.

Enjoy. ^_^

Not sure yet. I guess it will depend on how much you are limited to do per day because in new leaf, it seems like you cannot do much each day and am progressing slowly. I just don't have enough patience to progress that slow so it depends on how much progress you can make each day and if I have enough patience to wait til the next day.

I probably will. I don't have a lot of free time during the week, so I may TT if I miss events/items for events.

Nope! No plans to TT!

I'm actually really excited for events and want to take my time exploring and planning out pathways, the layout and where everything is going to go! Thank Serena for having a tent that can be placed anywhere so I have more time to plan out because I can't tell you how many town restarts I had to do in NL to get things right - I'm so particular with how my layout is, if anything and I mean even one small detail isn't to my liking, that's it! Done! It's restarting time!!! (ㅁ ◇ ㅁ; )

Nope nope nope, I know I am an impatient person but I ruined my NL experience by TT. No sir.

I won't at first, but as the game gets older and I run out of things to do, eventually I will.

I work full time and freelance on the side.

I hope they have time travel so I can actually play a variety of times and not just early morning and night.

I also don't want to miss events. My first AC game, I never got to do holidays cos my mom said no video games. Once I learned about time traveling I could finally do the holidays.

I might; it depends. I can't always play AC every single day, and time travel is a nice way to make sure I don't miss anything. On the other hand, I want to enjoy NH as it unfolds.

I do it a lot with New Leaf for villager cycling and because to be frank, there's not so much to do day-by-day. If I have time to play for a few hours, being stuck in one day gets boring. But I expect NH will have so much more to do, so that may not even be an issue.
