Do you plan to change your island based on season?

I've created seasonal areas on my island for that exact reason - like a little walkway along the beach to get to the northern side of my island and a few around my RS -, just so I can decorate them seasonally and swap out the flowers without having to do it on the entire stretch of land. Keeps me busy enough on the decorating side, but isn't overwhelming and has my town still looking good all year round.

yessss! i would love to!! hopefully new seasonal furniture and deco is released over the years as well~~ I think changing up things will help keep gameplay fresh and will give me something fun to do!!

It’s so much work already to manage my island in the current season, so I doubt I’ll be making any major changes... 😅

Nah not particularly, im in the Southern Hemisphere but im still making my island so I dont need to change it every time the season change. I have a bunch of frozen furniture set outside Cube's home but because hes a penguin I feel like it'll be fine with him all year round. Ill have to see how it looks in summer to definitively decide though

I don't plan to change my entire island, but I will swap out certain outdoor/house items for seasonal ones :3 for example, I'll swap my pink rose rug for the snowflake rug and my candle for a snow globe! small things like that ✨

I honestly think I won't lol maybe add some decorations here and there but I won't completely change everything just for the season, it'll be fun to do so but that's a lot of work...

I plan to have certain decor to decorate with but nothing to a large extent that requires major overhauls of the typical design. I'm just too lazy for that.

I'm currently planning on decorating my island with neutral pieces of furniture, and some natural themed ones (wooden, etc). However, I do have plans on leaving certain areas open for seasonal furniture. So I guess I'm sort of in the middle, though I definitely think I'm more towards the "no" spectrum.

mad props to anyone who has the dedication to change their island theme according to the season.
that's so much work for me personally lol. i like the fall/autum-winter seasons in the game so i tend to just tt back to those seasons after getting all the stuff i need/want from each updates.

yes, I'll probably add the mushroom furniture to my foresty areas in autumn and I'll remove the picnic set for autumn/winter. Maybe I'll build a snowman in its place once it starts snowing.

I'll probably change some stuff! in the winter my tiki bar will probably be altered to fit in more by using the frozen furniture, and I suppose stuff like picnic areas aren't as commonly used in winter 😛 I suppose I'll cross that bridge when I get to it! but yes, i'll likely make minor changes but no massive overhaul because i don't have the creativity for that!

i’ve definitely thought about it but i likely won’t - maybe i’ll scatter some small seasonal decorations around as time goes on but i don’t see myself changing/adding in anything major since decorating my island is tiring enough without having to change it every few months aha

definitely but nothing major. i worked on it already depending on the bushes that are in season. i imagine i'd have fun designing when the seasons have changed. i'm not gonna make my island ever "finished" or "final". i'm obviously not gonna change it all, but it's fun to have something to do every now & then.

I have a few things that will change - a surf shop and shark spotting station. I'll probably collect the eggs from the flamingo nests, too.

I have several leaf piles that I want to swap out to match the season, and I'll definitely add some mush stuff.

I won't be taking everything down, though. When I set things up it was with the idea of tweaking as the seasons changed.

I will admit that I'm at least a little lazy and once my island and villagers are are how I like them, I will most likely make little to no changes. I could see myself making minor changes to my island, if more and more items and what not are added, because we may continue to get better content since Nintendo wants to extend the life of this game. However I do not see myself even putting away my beach decor come winter on my hemisphere. My villagers don't really use the stuff I leave out for them anyways.

I will probably add in some decorations here and there for the season. I do have a second event plaza where I put seaosnal event items, and then when the season is over, it turned into a amsument park/fair area. That way I can display all the seasonal items without having to change too much. But then I will put decor items around (like christmas trees, etc) around the town.
