Do you only play ACNL?

I get the feeling there are a lot of ACNL players who only play ACNL and absolutely no other games, which just seems weird to me, TBH. A 3DS isn't cheap, and I get there are people who have, like, 5 towns, but ACNL is honestly just gets so boring after a while, at least for me.
Then again, maybe I'm wrong, and these people just don't really exist.

Honestly, do what you want, I just feel like some people are entitled brats when it comes to the series, such as getting mad when Nintendo talks about any other game, or wanting another update for ACNL, which is now almost six years old. I wish they would finally release another game, too, but I'm okay with playing other games in the meantime.

Thank you for that! I wish I could edit it. The question was originally different, and I didn't change the last option to reflect that, but essentially, I meant it to be the option for "Of course I play other games!"

acnl was one of the main reason for me to get a 3ds but there were also other great 3ds games. I dont play acnl anymore. maybe there are some people who only play acnl lol idk.

I've been playing the Animal Crossing games since 2005 and it's always been something I've preferred to play in short bursts. It's cute and it's addictive and I play it consistently when I go through phases when I'm super into it but it just can't grip me in the same way an action-packed RPG can.

I got my 3DS as a birthday gift last Summer, it's the special Animal Crossing version. For now I only have New Leaf & Happy Home Designer on it. I've been so occupied with playing ACNL (it's my first time playing it, I'm so late to the game!) but eventually I will of course buy other games as well to get the most out of it

I mostly play Animal Crossing alongside other games.
It was not always that way, but I slowly got in the habit of using it to relax after school, since any small amount of time I would put into it would be progress. I could pick it up whenever I wanted to as well which is very convenient.

I have other games that I'll switch out to every now and then, but mostly I play ACNL. It's relaxing for me, I think that's why I keep coing back to it.

Well ACNL is the game that convinced me to buy a 3ds to begin with and it does log my most hours of playtime, but I do have other games I bought with it... games that went untouched for a veryyy long time until I got bored with ACNL. I went through a time when I ditched ACNL and caught up on a ton of other 3ds games I missed out on. It was definitely worth it and there’s a ton of other amazing games out there, but just from my experience and play style, after completing other games I rarely ever revisited or bought new ones but I always found myself consistently coming back to ACNL. Now a days if I’m not playing ACNL on 3ds, I’m playing something else on the Switch. I honestly see nothing wrong with someone only buying the 3ds to play animal crossing though, as expensive as it is just to play one game on the console. It’s the same thing as someone who is only into a certain computer game and builds a computer specifically to run that game.

My 2ds XL is my expensive ACNL machine, and I love it. I have a couple other games, and there's some I still want, but for the main part I play ACNL and I don't regret it! This game was the main reason for me to buy a new DS in the first place

I only play animal crossing new leaf.
I made an pocket camp account and I have HHD, but they don?t quite interest me as much.
I?ve played them and I have them but it?s been months since I played either.
I guess I just like the interactions in new leaf better and the freedom to make a whole town.
I don?t really get bored of it. There?s so much to do that it?s hard to ever complete it.
I?m really into simulation games like new leaf ( harvest moon, sims ). Sort of like life simulation, and I just don?t see the other animal crossing games that fit that description other than new leaf and wild world.

I have played many other games besides ACNL, but I tend to focus on one game at a time. So, right now, ACNL is the only game I'm playing so I can devote as much time and energy to it as possible. But I will eventually tire of it and move on to a new game, like I always do.

Also, I don't mind spending the money on a console for just one game. To me, it's not about how many games I play on the console but how much use I get out of it. So as long as I put in plenty of hours, I still feel like I get my money's worth. I originally bought a used 3DS just to play Pokemon X, but I ended up getting into ACNL shortly after finishing that game, so I lucked out.

I play looooads of ACNL, which makes sense when you have 4 towns to maintain. But I do play other games like LoZ: Twilight Princess, RFF, Halo 3 & 4, Skyrim, and HM:AP. But Nintendo is my favourite console, so I play alot of Nintendo games.

I play ACNL often, but I still play Gamecube version quite regularly. I think Gamecube and New Leaf are the 2 best games in the series, and they are different enough that I can play them both without getting bored with either. I like how New Leaf offers so much freedom when it comes to designing your town, but when I want a relaxing experience I go to Gamecube. In that game I don't have to worry about villagers constantly moving, or my town having to become the best it can possibly be.

There are times I try creating a new City Folk town, but I usually get bored with that game in a couple weeks.

EDIT: I realize now that the post wasn't just talking about other Animal Crossing games. I also happen to play a lot of Sid Meier's Civilization, The Sims 3, and Plants VS Zombies: Garden Warfare 2. Of course I play many other games but those are the ones I play most often. Pikmin 2 is also notable but my disk broke so I currently have no way of playing it.

I own all the main series Animal Crossing games, and the one I find myself playing the most often is the one on the Gamecube. Probably mostly because I have the most nostalgia for that one, but in a way the amount of freedom given in New Leaf lessens its appeal rather quickly. I've been playing AC:GCN for 11 years now and I still love it.

I, in reality, spend very little of my gaming time playing Animal Crossing. for the most part I play Super Mario and Pokemon games. Sometimes I'll play games like Zelda, Animal Crossing, and some random stuff I own on older consoles, but not often.

ACNL was what got me back into gaming and what convinced me to buy a 3DS, but it’s not the only game I play. In fact, buying my 3DS actually inspired me to try out new games and series I hadn’t played before and I’ve definitely expanded my gaming horizons since then!

I play different types of games, but I usually tend to focus on one game in particular that I play at least every day. At the moment I'm playing a LOT of ACNL. It's such a relaxing and fun game to pass the time. Sometimes I switch to my WiiU or other DS games for variety or online.

I play both Animal Crossing and Story of Seasons, and maybe a couple others. To be honest, I'm just too afraid of trying new games because a lot of the ones I did try out were very hard for me to play, so I basically try to stick to games that are easy. Don't get me wrong, hard and challenging games are fun too, but I just prefer easy ones that are fun and can be relaxing.
