Do you like your town layout?

My map.jpg

Eh, its okay. Not the best ever, but I am making it work.

I like mine. I only wish I had placed my police station in a different place. I was not thinking well that day, apparently.

I'd like two of my villagers to move, but otherwise I like my layout a lot.

This is an excellent thread and its question relates to me lately.

I will be resetting my second town Progress.

I was able to get (and print at 72-percent scale in landscape) apparently all the maps from which there is availability in "Animal Crossing: New Leaf."

I have something in mind for replacing Progress. And I will have to choose a new map wisely. I also need to put more thought to the layout which would include locations of villager houses. (I'm certainly going to do this with human houses.)

I think my common mistake has been in looking at a map without thinking how paths could flow. For example, it's nice to have a town where a path can flow from the Train Station or from Main Street going across to the south side of one's town.

I do admire a lot of the hard work and creativity others have gone through in creating and completing their towns.

I love mine so far ^.^ Some of the houses marked in red will be moved so the smaller half of town will be somewhat organized. The only thing that will always bother me is the fact that I couldn't put my house down where I initially wanted it, which is marked in blue. Unfortunately for me a villager was sitting there already when I started my town :/, so I settled for second best. Besides that, I love my town.

I love it! I haven't seen any other map posted anywhere that I like as much as mine :D

I really like the layout of my town as I wanted a town with a bit of land right in the middle, like what I've got. I thought it would just be the perfect spot for the caf?. (^-^)

Is there a way to get a certain one? I see one on there that I really like, but may take awhile for it to be shown when starting a town. If I restart, that is.. It will take a lot of planning, though.

a little outdated but ta-dahh

hope the image doesn't come out big.

OMG your villagers' houses are all lined up so nicely! Too bad the rest of the map is such a mess.

Why didn't you line up your player houses? And it's a shame all your shops & permanent PWPs are so far apart.

personally, i like that your player houses aren't all lined up. it forces dream villagers to walk all the way around your town without having to enter a house every two steps. it's hard for me to fully take in the glory of all of the houses dream towns have to offer when they're too close together. i need a little breather to walk around before entering another home. that's merely my take on it, though. it doesn't mean that your town is a mess.

I just wanted chime in and say, I really, really like your map too, having just visited the dream address as well.
It's really spacious in some areas and I personally enjoy that.
IMHO, I feel it's better to have some uniformity but not too much.

I chose the first map that came up (as I had no idea whether you could come back to it or not if you flicked through the other choices), and luckily I really like it. :) I have some issues with the rock placement, but I couldn't really know about that beforehand and I just try my best to work around them.

i love mine, id probably move henry's house if i could just because it look like its touching retail.....WIN_20140723_101845.jpg
