Do you like your town layout?

If you don't, what would you like to change?
I was in such a rush to start the game, so I thought the first map you get is the one you have... So I wasn't paying much attention. I have 4 ponds, but my Retail shop is right by the train station. I would like only a few ponds and for the permanent rocks to be in different places...

I love how all the homes are at the bottom ^_^ Did you plot reset? I wish I would've done that with a few of my villagers, but it's too late now ;-;

I don't plot reset or anything, though. I just go along with it and if a villager moves on to my path, whoever it is, I'll get them out.

i love my map! i'd post up a picture but i'm at the island at the moment. the only thing i'd change is build my bridges prior to putting in my cafe, cause now there's not enough space (darn you, invisible bridge spaces) but i got over it by rearranging.

i think people start to dislike maps that they previously liked and obtain "layout envy" and adopt what's popular on the forums, which blows, honestly.

Mine is similar to WonderK's but flipped around. And my plaza is in the middle with my retail on the left and my town hall on the right. I just wish people wouldn't move in in the dumbest places. It sucks to say, but Julian moved to a spot and left the tiniest space between him and the river...I'll have to boot him out sooner, rather than later.

I like it for the most part, but I could really use a fourth bridge.

I like mine. All the small things that I could have found wrong with it at first were overruled by the fact that I loved having a diagonal waterfall! I didn't even know you could get diagonal ones. And my retail is equal distance from the beach and the train station, which I find I like. And it's the first town I've had since getting the game last year and many restarts, that I've liked where the plaza is in relation to how often I see if any visitors are there.

I started the game not long ago as well, and my first town Bonbon is a mess! x3 I didn't knew anything about Plot resetting, but I didn't feel like resetting since it has some sentimental value ^^ and villagers I love !!

My new town Cotton is prettier I feel :3 still lack of patience for Plot resetting, but it has much more space and proper lines/paths.

you can go to isabelle, ask to demolish something and she'll pull your bottom map up to the top screen. proceed to screen shot it as per usual. hope this helped

I'm not sure of any other way to do it, but the way I know is if you go to Isabelle and take a picture when your map is on the top screen when dealing with the PWP's.

I have a very similar layout but I let all my villager put their houses where they wanted, now my village is kinda of a mess.
