I'm a dog person IRL and I'm not that fond of the cat models in the game tbh... but I always end up with at least one cat in each game I play and I love them so much.

I have Tabby on my island she's absolutely precious. Definitely is my favourite cat villager of all time now. She beat Stinky by just a little :'))

All cats are adorable, I'd like to have Purrl or Olivia or Ankha at some point. Not Raymond, though. I dislike his design...
I also had a tiger at one point, though I ended up voiding him. Felt pretty bad about it...

I have Kabuki and Tangy! Kabuki's my favourite cat villager so I had to have him on my island, and after I got oranges as my native fruit I figured Tangy would work perfectly too. I like cranky villagers and I just love Kabuki's design, I'm planning on moving him right next to my character's house in the planned bamboo forest.

I'm a dog person irl, so I also have Lucky and Audie. Lucky's probably my favourite villager currently, he's just so cute,, he kinda reminds me of my own dog so there's some bias there I guess.

I feel like a lot of the dev team likes cats. XD It's definitely one of my favourite species in the game, and each cat villager is so unique and adorable in their own special way! They make me miss my S/O's orange tabby. ;_; My personal favourites -- in no particular order -- are Ankha, Rosie, Bob, Raymond, Lolly, Rudy, Olivia, and Punchy.

Tabby is my favorite cat and I had her for a while on my island. Eventually I replaced her with Alfonso and I’m much happier now. Cats never have been my thing.

there are so many cute cats in animal crossing but since my island is supposed to be deer themed I had to limit myself to just one feline. I ended up sticking with Raymond after I got him in my campsite and gave him a lab coat so now he's the village doctor

Right now I've got two, they were both starting villagers (the ones you get for the first three plots you build). One is Merry and I've grown to really like her, I think she fits the peppy personality so well and she's cute without being too cute. The other one is Bob but he's just a temporary villager. I'm not a big fan of his design because he's just so purple and I tend to aim for more natural-looking villagers, plus his eyes kind of weird me out.

I really want to get Katt in the long run because she was one of my first NL villagers and I loved her so much I had someone hold her when I reset. I really miss having her around. There are also other cat villagers I had or wanted to have in NL, like Tabby. I really, really wanted Tabby back then but ended up never being able to get her because people just voided her all the time.

I love cats in real life but there are so many of the cat designs in AC that I'm just not a fan of. The cats who wear make-up are a cool concept in theory but villagers with lots of make-up kind of weird me out. Plus there are some I like in theory because they're cute/cartoonish, but would look really out of place among the villagers I tend to like.

My island is home to 8 cats, Punchy, Mitzi, Rudy, Kitty, Tom, Katt, Felicity, and the adorable, non garbage cat Raymond. The other two are rabbits, Snake and Carmen. I hope one day to have an all cat island. I just have to talk my bro into letting Snake move. Snake is his second favorite after Raymond, so he's not going to let him go easily.

I don’t like a lot of villagers with makeup as well, mostly the lipstick and heavy eyeshadow (then there are some with no makeup but it looks like they have eyeshadow because of the eyelid color, which bothers me). I do like Diana and especially Ankha though .

My island had mostly cats and I plan on getting one more (two if i had more room). I have Rudy, Punchy, Raymond, Merry, Rosie, Kiki. I have plans to get Ankha and would get Lolly if I had more room (plan on getting Marshal instead for last spot).

If i had more room, I’d also like to give Tabby, Moe, Tom, and Bob a chance. I initially had no interest in any of them, but being cats, my disinterest did not last long and seeing a lot of adorable screenshots of them also helped. Okay, I’m a little interested in Olivia, Purrl and Katt as well. lol. I love cats too much. Monique is pretty but I just don’t like lipstick on villagers.

Nope, I used to really like the cat villagers but out of all the animals I think they lost the most cuteness once all the characters got taller in NL. Even Punchy who was my first favorite in Gamecube doesn’t really appeal to me anymore.
I did have Moe as my starter lazy on my island and wow did I regret inviting him after awhile (to be fair I can’t stand the lazy personality in this game ) I saw Raymond in-game for the first time ever in a dream town recently and somehow he just didn’t look how I expected (the tallness!), he looked way too humanoid to me *shudder*
