do you have a villager hunt success story

besides fuchsia and pietro i met all my current villagers on mystery islands. and 4 of them are the ones i really wanted to have in my town! and i'm pretty sure i met whitney on my 4th ticket, fang was my first ticket of the day and i found audie in less than 25 tickets.

yes! during one of my recent island hopping sessions, i was determined to find any one of my dream villagers. alas i was having no luck and was close to settling for erik but i decided to persevere and a few islands later, i found dobie!

Two times in a row now I’ve gotten a villager I like on the 3rd try despite being prepared to go to 40+ islands. I don’t have a dreamies list so when I Island hop I’m really going in with no expectations I just want a cute one! But the first time was fauna on my 3rd island and the second was blue bear on my 3rd trip! Very weird considering I have the worst luck irl but in game my luck is off the charts!(like when I caught an oarfish and then a coelacanth within the span of 2 minutes)
