Do you fully expand all your rooms?

I did but then I had to come up with more elaborate themes for each room. Unless you're doing the theme challenge I see no good reason to fully expand.

No, I never expand to the backroom. I like my bed to be in the middle of the room.
Expanding often causes more trouble than it's worth!

I always expand every room in order to fit as many things as possible. I even expand the basement because it's like a fifth room to the museum, though I try to organize it.

I did in my first couple towns and then decided that's not always the best look. I now plan what I want to do with the rooms first to see if the full expansion works best.

My house right now is at the max capacity, I upgraded to the finish line just for the award as my other games I never expanded to the end. I think though, if you got a good plan on what you want your town to be ideally, then it's also fine to not expand the entire house, just what you want/need c:

I expanded every room, because I like themes and having displays and stuff. I always find that I need more room

In the past I always got all of the rooms and most of them fully upgraded. In my current town my house is only one room. I'm definitely keeping it that way. I'm way too OCD to have more rooms. It legitimately bothers me if the whole house doesn't have a particular theme that also matches the outside. Like before my house had the snowman, jingle, mermaid, and egg set. It bothered me so much that I restarted. Even certain shades of wood being in the same room together bugs me.

All my house rooms are full size. I have a holiday, Campus College, Vegas Hotel, bug/weed/fish/pascal houses in my different towns. All the stuff wouldn't fit.

I have visited dream suites with smaller rooms and I like that it's cozy. This month I removed the beds in the main room and made them sitting/ living room. I'm not doing the challenges so it doesn't matter anymore. I love my main rooms now.

I only have my main room right now and I think it has only had one or two expansions. I am trying to get the mermaid set and it is taking fooorever so I am keeping the room small.

i only have an attic, main room, and basement rn(all fully expanded). i won't add on a back room at all and i might leave the left and right bedrooms small once i add them.

I'm exactly the same.
But when I first started I just wanted to finish expanding my house to the max. Now on my other characters I carefully plan out the theme and what will go where, and if expansion is necessary or not.

Um... Someone gave me 6 million bells so I paid off my entire loan... and had 3 million left over... I did it, and got ALL the gold exteriors. I also hate be in debt. (I don't like Tom Nook owning my soul.)
