Do you feel like your island is too big or too small?

Usually, I think that my island's size is "just the right size". However, whenever I visit other islands, I always think that they are way bigger than mine for some reason. Anyway, after a while, I realize again that my island's size is right and the cycle continues.

At the beginning of the game, it felt too big. So much space! Do I even need it? After a few months, I'm used to my island, and it feels just right. There's space for everything that I want, and there's still space to run around chasing butterflies or balloons without running into stuff.

If the game throws Brewster's cafe at us as a separate building, I have space for that too.

It's too big to make it easy to tie areas together in a fluid way...but, it's too small to implement any really large-scale ideas.

This probably described my thoughts quite well. I have so many ideas and different themes I would like to include on my island, but too little space to tie them together nicely or make them not feel cramped, but also walking on my island makes me realize how many empty small areas I have that look weird the way they are, but having no idea what to do with them exactly makes the island quite overwhelming. Having so little furniture I actually like, doesn't make this progress easier.

Mine feels huge. I've been working on certain areas for months though while a couple more are barren. I'll get to those areas as more stuff is released in updates. I really hope the farming and vegetable rumours come true, I have the perfect area ready and waiting.
