if u asian af you'd know what mooncake is

tbhhh i think it's gross and i have to dig it out

i only like a little bit of the yolk. Sometimes it tastes kinda weird to eat all of it o.e heck i dont even eat a whole mooncake xD

for those who dont know:
mooncakes are traditionally eaten during the Mid-Autumn Festival. usually they are filled with red bean paste or lotus seed paste, occasionally with egg yolk inside. mooncake.jpg

i love mooncake v much, i mean it's kinda dry sometimes and gets stuck in the roof of my mouth but it's so nice esp the crusty bit but i don't like the yolk it ruins it so much, i always have to dig it out or if i'm lucky there isn't a yolk in the cake at all or i cut a square out with no yolk

i don't eat a whole mooncake either xD two pieces max for me

I just hate how it gets stuck in my braces but i agree with the crust part being nice, plus i dont like the price o.e

i love moon cake, but the yolk is the only part of it that i wouldnt eat. i dont like yolk in general bc its so dry/crumbly

I have never had one but I think I would like to try one it looks good to eat, I might even eat the yolk depending on the taste. I don't think I would eat a whole one though. Have it in pieces.

i've never even tried it )):

is it bc im southeast asian

I'm Southeast Asian as well but I eat mooncakes every year :-o

I had one just a few minutes ago actually, haha.
But to answer the thread question, I always eat the yolk. Honestly speaking, I actually prefer mooncakes with egg yolk, lol. Though they all taste good to me :-P

I've had a moonpie, but not a mooncake. I just googled it and it looks good, but there's egg yolk in it..... I probably would scrape that out too, but overall it looks good! :P
Maybe I'll try it someday
